It was one of the most complex drawings I’d had in mind for quite a while. I’m already starting to hyperfixate on the flaws. But more than anything, I’m happy that I pushed myself to work on it and actually finish it.

From a distance, Sayaka looks dignified, but up close she’s pouting and blushing… it suits her, I think.

That's it, I'm writing a fanfic about this! In a timeline where when their soulgems get dar a witch has a period of time where they stay human for a while before they turn to monsters and lose their memories! The others have to reach out and bring them back before they're truly gone :3

Do you know how it’s stated in Ophelia’s description that she “can no longer remember to horse that always accompanied her” despite always riding atop of it?

What if the same thing goes for Sayaka? Like Ophelia has memory issues and every time Sayaka comes back to Ophelia’s barrier and Ophelia doesn’t remember her at all?

I actually forgot about this fact oh my god I imagine if i were to visualize their dynamic, her memory of sayaka would eventually boil down to 'Oh yea that one blue magical girl im fond of but not sure why'

I see Oktavia and Opheila as very lonely witches when their counterparts aren't together, so the fact that Opheila could slowly get more lonely not remembering who sayaka is, is eating my brain rn...

ugh I love fluff but yall are gonna start making me draw witch angst
