Copper (OC) - Houseki no Kuni

She lost an arm to corrosion. Technically not a crystal, but shhh.

I know OCs aren’t the most interesting thing, but I wanted to draw at least one in preparation for (maybe) taking part in ArtFight this year.

Sorry for the lack of recent posts. I’ve been using a lot of my free time to work on a cosplay (Anthy!!!) for Japan Expo 2026. I hope I’ll be able to finish another drawing before July :')

It was one of the most complex drawings I’d had in mind for quite a while. I’m already starting to hyperfixate on the flaws. But more than anything, I’m happy that I pushed myself to work on it and actually finish it.

From a distance, Sayaka looks dignified, but up close she’s pouting and blushing… it suits her, I think.

An OC thingy

I’m not feeling very confident about my drawings at the moment. I came very close to deleting a few posts because some of my older fanarts really frustrate me. I won’t do it, since I already don’t post that much.

But everything I make right now feels bland and uninteresting. I don’t know whether what I draw evokes anything at all. I stare at my drawings, trying to pinpoint what I dislike about them, and I can’t tell whether I’m actually regressing or if it’s just a feeling.

All of this to say that I have lots of ideas for fanarts (rgu, madoka, hnk and some new things too). I just didn't feel confident enough to bring them to life. But I'm getting there.

In the meantime, here’s a more personal, inconsequential drawing.

Elfen Lied is what it is, but the Lilium opening has lived rent-free in my mind since my edgy teenage years. So… for no other valid reason, I present this crossover.

The two pieces brought together. I got a bit lazy and reused some framing elements I’d already painted for another rgu fanart. I’m calling this one “The Armor was a Lie.”

From one pink-haired character to the next.

This fanart made me realize that I had no idea how I wanted Utena's facial features to look in my style. I don't actually like the result here. Her face looks... generic.

But I was getting tired of working on this piece, so it'll have to do for now.

Just an OC. She's the mc/self-insert I throw in every visual novel/murder sim I play. She's here to make me suffer by proxy most of the time.

She's already appeared once in a fanart I posted here, but I was too much of a coward to draw her face then.

Madoka Kaname as a duelist - Utena / Madoka crossover

I mentioned I wanted to draw them all with the default duelist uniform but ... You know how Madoka doesn't wear her magical girl uniform until the very end, while Utena only abandon her own special outfit once ...

Anyway, here she is, with Homura's broken sword.

I really, really wanted to draw her as a black rose duelist too but I lack the time and energy. Maybe I'll do it in the future, with Mami's sword.
