I'm currently contemplating whether Usagi (my original character for a DC story) will be adopted by the Kudo family or the Akai family. I need her to encounter Shuichi somehow. Alternatively, I could depict her meeting Akai on the beach with young Shinichi and Ran. Perhaps I'll establish a connection between the Wright family and the Kudo family.
