Well hello there and welcome to painting no.4 of the infamous Kurtis Trent calendar I will finish in several years so look forward to 2030 being YOUR YEAR lololol

Finally, month #5 is done. Thanks to @positivelyamazonian 's dedication to tag me in post about the fanfic she wrote I got the drive to finish this one. My life has been way too stressful in the last 8 months including moving across the county, starting my master's degree, and trying to find friends in my new place.

I also found my way to the AoD tumblr fanclub Discord so...see you there? lol

More Kurtis Trent gets lots in a tomb and needs to escape-art haha I especially like my attempt at inking (which is way easier on paper for real) and can't wait to not do it again for the next entry. What will it be tho??

Finally, I found a way to ink the pages that I like.

I was experimenting since I usually render everything in color, but I wanted to try a screentone and halftone shaded approach. I think I'll go with this, or, I might try to make 13 different ways? Would that be cool? I'll ponder over that, and you're welcome to answer me.

Meanwhile Kurtis is slicing off Boaz' head and telling me I need to learn how blood physics work lmao.

Finally, I can share these with you.

I have been working on my portfolio and since I'm done for now I can share what my brain has come up with. These are all scenes for the calendar I'll be working on from now on. All these show Kurtis Trent in situations where I imagine he'd be- mostly slaughtering enemies, anything with water (not sure why, maybe it enhances the emo-ness lol) and scenes where he relaxes after a busy time.

Tell me what you think and if there's a scene you particularly like. The 13th picture is too spicy for now, and I'll include it at some point, in the future...he he
