He rolled his eyes to the side. How could anyone think that death was the better way to go…he thought the whole idea was stupid and he felt sorry for the main characters to have to resort to that sort of thing.

“Exercising my mind sounds like a pain…” He was always the type to never study for weeks on end for school; it was always cramming in the last day and memorizing notes that allowed him to receive exceptional scores on tests, so reading something that forced him to think seemed to take the fun out of reading for him. Of course, he never really thought that reading was fun in the first place.

He sighed. “I just don’t get how they can choose death…they probably didn’t even give their lives a chance…it’s so stupid.” He wouldn’t budge from his stance on the matter. “Mm…though if they think death is the better way, then maybe they deserved to die in the first place…”

well, he can’t blame the other for his opinion. one would think the same thing if they hadn’t read the whole book. it has a lot of complications but once you manage to grasp the gist of what they are trying to lead in this story, you’ll understand the reasons behind the protagonists actions. with a sigh, the phantom responded.

              ` i don’t think they didn’t give their lives chances but let’s just leave it at that.. more importantly, it’s unusual for murasakibara-kun to be this enthusiastic over a character of a book. `

kuroko had notice how he had been constantly been ganging up on the main character for wasting his life like that. he sure has huge sense of justice in him. not that he mind though. it was a nice change, he thinks.

          Surprisingly, I still have no idea how one starts such posts. There were a few similar lists on my blog, still I’m getting more rusty and awkward with every new, but back to the main topic.           I decided to merge three happenings in one, even if originally was planned to make everything separated and offer gifts (I may still consider it), thus— as My Birthday is July 10th, as I made and stayed with Akashi since May 10th 2012 and as there’s almost 1k Followers, I want to thank everyone literally, who stick with me till this time, no matter of my weeks of inactivity due to health problems, who send me messages, asks ‘bout headcanon, who rp with me, who just simply stay in spite of everything for whatever reason.           It’s not a Follow Forever, it’s my usual Thank You List, as these are people, who made or make my presence on this blog pleasing and memorable for all these years, who I’m glad to see or read on my dash, whose urls make me smile, when I see new notifications on activity page, ‘cause trust me some of these people (especially personal blogs) don’t communicate with rp blogs a lot, yet they’ve been with me for years and I feel honored. I see you all, I remember you all, even if you may go inactive or on hiatus, yet it doesn’t mean my mind and memory will take hiatus as well..  x

Reading books? That was definitely quick. Miharu had been fond of English literature, the subject being one of her best ones in school generally. Observing people? A little creepy. But magic tricks? Now that was one odd hobby. Slightly odd. After all it wasn’t everyday either twin encountered such a person. And Miharu being the spokesperson of the two…

x. so i currently don’t have that many threads going on so LIKE this for a starter? length varies. i just really wanna throw kuroko out more to people and give him lots and lots of friends because this shadow baby needs love and attention

Bless Kuroko. The boy was practically a saint, Mikoto could probably attest to that. And while Mikoto found the idea fun as well, said friends were from the States. All he could do however is to watch his sister and his friend converse rather animatedly.

“You like basketball right? It should be.” If she could help his brother’s friends from back home convince them to travel to Japan. “Ne, Kuroko-san, do you have any other hobbies besides basketball?” They both liked two different sports, but there must be some common ground between them at least.

something he like doing other than basketball? he wasn’t really that much of a busy person himself so he can’t narrate down a lot of things. not to mention, the thing he does require minimal energy to avoid exhausting himself. he has low fatigue tolerance after all due to his limited stamina-- though he is definitely working on improving it.

his eyes glinted a spark of glee despite all passiveness as he proudly declare his last triumph card.

well it’s really not magic trick. it’s just him using misdirection to disappear. only that.

He lost interest the moment Kuroko started to explain. Couldn’t there have been a simpler way to explain it? Like in ten words or less? Although the plot itself seemed good, it just wasn’t his idea of a fun read.

“Mn…” He sighed a little. “You like those types of books, huh Kuro-chin?” Novels were never much in his interest, especially those that had a complicated plot like that. If he were to read something like that, he’d probably fall asleep after the first few pages. “The characters must be stupid if they can only find peace in death.”

the story was twice as complicated as his summary. he should even be happy he had laid out the main ideas and said it in a much more simpler words that he could understand. well, not that he expected them to like it as well.

           ` you could say. this type of stories with such in depth and well-planned plots and are always good to read.. it not only a good exercises for your mind but it’s entertaining as well once you get to understand what it is about.. `

though his last remark about the character did throw him off slightly.

           ` --- i don’t think so.. it’s true that death means the end and one would see death as a path for cowardly people who wants to runaway from their problem but a lot of inevitable things are bound in this world. different reasons come up as to why they choose death over life so we really are in no position to insult them.. `

The girl nodded, acknowledging the shadow’s response. With Mikoto’s nagging however, she had been aware that she might be coming on too strong to the boy with baby blue hair,  but what could she do? Conversations haven’t been really her thing, not her forte to begin with. “I see. Well, it was a start, wasn’t it? Oppa, weren’t there kids who played streetball before?”

“Yeah. I had some classmates play before too,” came the short reply of the blond twin, giving up on getting his sister to act more gentle. Then again, when did he ever manage to ‘tame’ his younger sibling?

no seriously. he didn’t mind how her sister was acting. with how rowdy his life was together with the rest of generation of miracles, this was nothing out of common. one could say he’s gotten used to it already.

though it made him wonder, was his first play with ogiwara even considered as street play. he was being taught by the latter and there were just both of them.. well, whatever..

what would be their twitter name? what sorts of tweets would they tweet? i think kuroko would actually use his name as his twitter username.. probably smthn like @ktetsuya. and the things he’d probably posts are daily greetings and happenings in his life. he’s got formal and proper way of writing it even like he’s writing some kind of a journal.

what’s their favourite genre of movies? of music? hm.. i think kuroko has a wide variety of of taste when it comes to movie tbh?? like he doesn’t mind watching anything as long as everyone has agreed about it. of course, r-18 are out of questions though i guess if he had to pick one genre he often watches, it’s probably horror.. as for music.. i guess he’s into instrumental songs. though i kinda thought that if i were to base his taste of music through his music it’d probably be somewhere pop songs though. like they’re lively and catchy.. but yeah..

what’s on their top queue on netflix? basketball matches mostly.. there could also be few horror movies and other few genres.

what’s their favourite scent? do they smell like that? fresh air and vanilla milkshakes.. well, yeah.. i guess in a way.. i even think that despite how sweaty he gets, he still has that sweet scent with him tbhh

apple or android? hm.. i dont really think kuroko is into this kind of high tech stuff but if he were to choose between them... he’d probably go with apple just because.

favourite season? least favourite season? for me, kuroko’s favorite season is spring.. not only do cherry blosoms bloom this time of year but the weather is perfect for outdoor activities such as playing basketball and even reading books.. the least favorite is probably between winfer and summer though i’ll bet more on winter since it’s cold and he could barely stand going outside due to the weather.

are they a bottom or top or versatile? hmmm.... well, i think if kuroko were to enter a relationship he’d probably be versatile.. it really depends on who his partner is?? cause as much as i’d like to think that he’s a guy and could pin down anyone if he wanted too, if his partner is a guy who’s like bigger than him then there are other factors to consider such as their body built and strengths ( not unless the other submit himself purposely or he’s like probably caught off guard by him ) so yeah... plus the fact that kuroko’s mind is full of basketball, reading and catching up his time with his friends so i dont think he even has time for this stuff.

describe their morning routine. do they wake up early or sleep in? do they press the snooze button a bunch of times or do they immediately get up?  kuroko is a very light sleeper so the tiniest sound could really wake him up. if the alarm starts ringing then he’d wake up immediately.. though they still take time in trying to arouse themselves awake but that aside it doesn’t need that much effort to wake him up.

if they were to be compared to a canon character, who would that be? (spirit animal.) hmmm.. i can’t really think of anything other than Kenma Kozume from HQ!! rn tbh ( prolly because i was watching this a while ago ) like both of them are somehow similar in a sense that they’re wary of their surroundings.. they might both have different reasons for doing so ( with kenma doing it because he dislike being watch by people while kuroko does it for the sake of observing people for his misdirection ) but the fact doesn’t change that they can detect things from their surroundings. they’re both observant too and despite not being a prodigy or genius, their talents are just as good and awesome as others that people can’t help but admire them.. that aside, both of them are very apathetic when it comes to their expressions and barely show emotions..

He kept his eyes closed this time, as it got boring trying to read whatever Kuroko was reading. However, he was still listening to the conversation as best as he could. 

“Mn…yeah it’s pretty comfortable…” He yawned and let himself lean on the other, but tried not to put all of his weight on him. “…What’re you reading…?” Curiosity got the better of him, even though he still didn’t care much.

then that alone is enough for him to allow the other to remain in such position. proceeding in his reading, he halted a bit when the other had inquire the synopsis of the said book he was reading. now that was new. he was certain this kind of thing was out of murasakibara’s interest and yet here he was asking. turning his head slightly to the side to get a better view of the other, he explain.

` well, this is a story of one young man searching to fill a void in his life... it is a story of many individuals who long to appease loneliness, and the story of two men who attempt to assuage loneliness through love but only find peace in death. i said love in their but it isn’t in any romantic sort of love, rather the friendship and strong bond the two characters have for each other.. i say this book is a languid, melancholic dream of a novel which pierces the heart of the reader with its quiet intensity. `

             Offer of a tour? That was all who Kuroko was, even knowing that Akashi household had land and mansion, not even near they were newcomers in Tokyo, yet it didn’t keep him away from expressing desire to help. ‘He didn’t change after all.’ He proceeded to retain whist presence for a few instants more, trailing carmine hues over his friend’s image, noting to self few minor changes. When pause happened to be prolonged, more than meeting was supposed to hold, barely audible chuckle escaped his mouth along with speech. “—I grew up here, Kuroko, a tour isn’t required, however I’d not mind a company.”

             Observant as he was, it appeared that the other’s mind was occupied by something worth care and thoughts, yet decision not to dwell on that and demand some responses was preferable to him; the shadow player found it more appropriate to stand on the court at that time for a reason, thus the Rakuzan’s captain would move along that plan, his day wasn’t bound by any deeds. However he wasn’t capable to hold a chuckle, when words ‘bout Aomine being busy reached his hearing; changes had to hit him hard, or changes in a managerial personnel of the team, if to be more specific. They all suffered inevitable shifts, yet now it felt as they happened to be who they meant to be, still— he himself tossed superfluous thoughts to the side to utter. “—If… no one is expected, allow me to join. I’m in debt after the Winter Cup, don’t want your victory to linger.” Apparent playful smile transformed thin lips, slanted optics provided a cunning side glance, tone as equally sly and full of mischief, as the redhead permitted self to participate in one of the most delightful activities to him, taking into consideration of course who was his current partner. There was no wicked intention within him, just a mere want to act casual and be a teen, who rejoiced playing basketball and spending time with own teammates; former or current didn’t possess any value and matter, they were his teammates, and that was good enough.

well, he can’t really argue with that. it might have been a long time for the other to be here but if it was akashi who we are talking to then it was impossible for him to forget something like this. out of all the generation of miracles, he had ALWAYS had the sharpest memory. nevertheless, knowing that he didn’t mind his company made him feel happy, a slight tug at the corner of his lips to form a faint smile which later on disappear to maintain his reserve features.

              ` then i’ll intrude most                 of your time from now                 on then.. `

hearing the words that followed along with that mischievous smile on his face cause surprise on the phantom. a one-on-one with akashi huh? he thought as features remain passive, the ball in between his hands moving to be placed in between the space of his arm and body side. well, he knew he had a lot of disadvantage in this match starting from strength down to stamina but the thought of having to play along with the other again excites him. he had always dream this.. he had always hope for a day to come where he could play with everyone--- just a simple game for fun and enjoyment and to think that day was today, it sure took him by surprise. with a smile full of determination, kuroko finally confidently looked at his former captain to accept his CHALLENGE.

              ` it’d be my pleasure. i                 wouldn’t want to hand                 over the victory to you                 that easily, akashi-kun..                 even if this is just a                 friendly game. `

    One leg easily crossed over the other as his arm moved to rest upon the back of the bench they were sitting on. “Ah yes, my father wanted me to consult with one of his American customers this weekend. Well not with the customer, more with their daughter, I am to be a babysitter while he tries to play nice with them and gets the deal in good working order.” He paused for a moment, tipping his head up to look at the sky. 

     Of course it had to be this weekend of all things, but he had no words to say to his father in protest, not after his loss. His crimson gaze soon slid from the bright sky to even brighter blue eyes. Though it was all worth it to see an old friend again. 

     “So what might you be doing out here besides the obvious. Many would not venture outside just to read a book.”

a faint chuckle escape his lips as he listen at his former captain’s reason, gaze focused at watching the other talk. a realization was then made just from listening at him, to be honest. the phantom had realize how different their world is, how different their standings were and yet to think that basketball would be the one thing that had linked them together to meet.. he sure was lucky..

                ` i see.. it’s such a                   bum that you had                   to babysit someone                   in weekends but it                   has it’s advantages                   too.. `

well, at least for kuroko who is really fond with kids.

              ` actually... i am here                 just to read book..                 the weather today was                 nice enough so it was                 waste to stay indoors..                 though i did have a plan                 in mind of eating some                 where after this.. mind                 accompanying me for                 the mean time, akashi-                 kun? `

He wasn’t some helpless child that couldn’t take care of himself, especially since he’s already gotten lost a few times in Tokyo. But whatever, guess Kuroko was just the worrying type. Or at the very least, the type with a guilty conscience.

“You don’t need to worry about me…” He murmured and opened his eyes slightly to look at the book Kuroko was reading. Not that he really cared about it. “I hope I’m not too heavy~ You’re just really comfortable to lean on…” 

his gaze remain fix at the book, orbs trailing from one word to the other. hearing him speak didn’t manage to make kuroko take off his sight at what he was holding, however, lips parted to speak his reply. he may not look like it but he’s listening intently over what the other was saying. he’s just attention towards him just as his book.

                ` --- i’d be lying if i                   said you aren’t                   but it’s fine.. you’re                   comfortable in this                   position, right? `

“I think it’s cool how you stick to one sport only. It’s very impressive. How long have you been playing?” They might have been alike, but there were parts of their personalities that were complete opposites of the spectrum. After all, twins were never exactly alike. 

“Oh come on, Mi, really? Sorry, Tetsuya. She asks a lot of questions. Mi, stop itttt~”

a gentle wave in his hand was made to dismiss the apology the male did towards him. he really didn’t mind it. they were basic questions anyway, nothing personal and offending so he didn’t mind answering them honestly.

                ` it’s alright.. i don’t                   really mind it. `

turning his attention back at the lady, he responded.

                ` well, for around 6-7                    years.. i’ve started                    playing since 5th                    grade though it was                    just street play and                    i wasn’t that good                    enough either. `

x. you know, even if his time on screen or appearance wasn’t that long enough, i think mochida ( meiko’s captain ) has some sort of a part on why kuroko didn’t quit basketball. i mean it was literally him who gave kuroko the wristband that ogiwara left and honestly told him to continue playing basketball. i mean if i were in his place and i get to see someone who’s part of the team who mercilessly played them like a toy then you’d definitely hold a grudge against them and probably try your best to guilt trip them but he didn’t. he understood kuroko and encourage him not to give up something he love. he understood what ogiwara, who is despite of being afraid and traumatized after the shit that happen, wanted kuroko to continue playing.. so yeah, i just got a bit emotional there. i just-- this is like one of the moments where kuroko's on break down and like maybe his words pushed his reasoning to continue..
