WILL YOUR FRIENDS DO SAME FOR YOU?
Kwaku Rich
This is a deeply troubling and serious situation. The disappearance of a newborn from a medical facility is a critical incident, and the father's request to see the CCTV footage is a logical and urgent step for any parent trying to find their child.
Based on the details you've provided, here is an analysis of the situation and the critical questions it raises:
The Significance of the Father's Request
· Natural Response: Any parent in this situation would be desperate for answers. Requesting CCTV footage is one of the first things a family would do to try and understand what happened to their baby.
· Seeking the Truth: The father is likely looking for any clue—the last person to hold the baby, unusual movements in the corridor, or the moment the baby went missing.
· Pressure for Transparency: His request also puts pressure on the polyclinic and the police to be transparent and to act swiftly.
The "Smoking Gun": Individuals Fleeing the Scene
The fact that the CCTV footage shows individuals fleeing is the most explosive and concerning detail. This single piece of evidence transforms the situation from a mysterious disappearance into a potential crime. Here’s what it implies:
1. Confirms Foul Play: It strongly suggests that the baby's disappearance was not a random event or a mistake, but a deliberate act. Innocent people do not flee from a hospital where a crime has occurred.
2. Potential Inside Job or Complicity: The fact that these individuals were on the scene and felt the need to flee raises serious questions about whether they were hospital staff, visitors, or outsiders who managed to get into restricted areas. If they were staff members, it points to a catastrophic breach of trust and security.
3. A Lead for Investigators: While deeply disturbing, this is the most significant lead the police have. Their primary focus should be identifying these individuals. This involves:
· Tracking their movements through the hospital and out of the facility.
· Using additional CCTV from surrounding areas (streets, shops) to see where they went.
· Interviewing hospital staff to identify if anyone recognizes the individuals.
Demands for a Clear and Thorough Investigation
Given these developments, a "clear and thorough investigation" is not just a request—it is an absolute necessity. The investigation must focus on several key areas:
· Immediate Securing of Evidence: The police must immediately take custody of the original CCTV footage to prevent it from being tampered with or erased. They should also look for other cameras the fleeing individuals might have passed.
· Identification of the Fleeing Individuals: This is the top priority. Police need to circulate images (if possible and legally permissible) or detailed descriptions to the public and other security agencies.
· Staff Interviews and Verification: A full audit of all staff on duty at the time is crucial. Were all the scheduled staff present? Are there any staff members who have not shown up for work since the incident?
· Visitor Logs: The hospital must have strict visitor logs. Investigators need to cross-reference everyone who entered the maternity ward around the time of the disappearance.
· Motive: Investigators must work on possible motives. Was this a case of baby trafficking? Was it someone desperate for a child? Could it be a personal vendetta against the family or a staff member?
This is a parent's worst nightmare. The fleeing individuals seen on the CCTV have, unfortunately, confirmed the family's worst fears. The full weight of the investigation must now be brought to bear to find that baby and bring those responsible to justice. The polyclinic's security protocols will also be under intense scrutiny.
🚨 URGENT: WOMAN WANTED FOR ALLEGED BABY THEFT AT MAMPROBI POLYCLINIC
A woman is wanted by police for allegedly stealing a baby from Mamprobi Polyclinic.
If you have any information on her whereabouts, please report to the nearest police station immediately.
Let's bring this child home. 🇬🇭❤️

🇬🇭🇷🇺 RUSSIAN AMBASSADOR SUMMONED OVER ALLEGED SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF GHANAIAN WOMEN
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has officially confirmed summoning the Russian Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency Sergei Berdnikov, following disturbing allegations against a Russian national accused of publishing sexually explicit images of Ghanaian women without consent.
What went down:
📌 The meeting: Ambassador Berdnikov acknowledged the violation of victims' privacy and the serious cybercrime implications
📌 Russian cooperation: He expressed willingness to assist but dropped a major bombshell—the suspect's nationality hasn't been confirmed, and the name circulating in media "is not a recognized Russian name"
📌 International angle: Similar acts by this individual are under investigation in other countries. The Embassy pledged to share information to help Ghana's efforts
📌 The treaty problem: Russia and Ghana have no extradition agreement—a major hurdle
---
🧠 WHO IS THIS GUY?
Local media identify the suspect as Vyacheslav Trahov, also known as "Yaytseslav"—a self-styled "pick-up artist" and blogger in his 30s who allegedly used hidden cameras (some reports suggest camera-equipped sunglasses) to record encounters with multiple Ghanaian women, then shared the content online for financial gain .
The videos, which went viral on February 12, 2026, reportedly show him approaching women at places like Accra Mall before inviting them to private settings .
---
⚖️ THE BIG QUESTION: WILL HE BE BROUGHT BACK TO GHANA?
Here's the honest answer: Legally speaking, it's an uphill battle.
Why Ghana faces an uphill battle:
✅ No extradition treaty – Ghana and Russia have no bilateral agreement. Russia isn't even a signatory to the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime, which Ghana ratified
✅ Russia's Constitution says NO – Article 61(1) explicitly states: "A citizen of the Russian Federation may not be deported from Russia or extradited to another state" . This isn't policy—it's constitutional
✅ No formal charges yet – MP Patrick Boamah has questioned whether any victims filed official complaints or if charges have been formally filed—essential first steps
✅ Diplomatic channels – The Russian Embassy deals directly with Ghana's Foreign Ministry, and some argue proper protocols haven't been followed
---
🗣️ WHAT OFFICIALS ARE SAYING:
Communications Minister Sam George is determined:
"We want the gentleman to come to Ghana, to be brought back to Ghana, extradited to Ghana, for him to face the rigors of our law."
He's working with Interpol and has threatened trial in absentia if the suspect doesn't return .
But MP Patrick Boamah (Foreign Affairs Committee) warns:
"The Attorney General hasn't made any application for extradition... no court will grant it because we don't have that treaty with the Russians."
---
📌 SO, WILL JUSTICE BE SERVED?
Realistically? Extradition is unlikely. Russia doesn't send its citizens anywhere—period.
But that doesn't mean the case is dead:
✅ Ghana can pursue trial in absentia and get judgment
✅ Interpol could arrest him if he steps into a third country with an extradition treaty
✅ The Russian Embassy has pledged to share information from other countries investigating him
✅ Public pressure and diplomatic engagement may still yield some accountability
As the Gender Ministry put it: "Jurisdictional limits [will not] prevent appropriate action."
---
🧠 KWAKU RICH VERDICT:
Will Trahov be brought back to Ghana in handcuffs? Probably not.
Will he face consequences? Maybe—just not the way we expect.
This case has exposed a massive gap in global cybercrime cooperation. When a citizen of a non-extradition country commits crimes abroad, victims are left clutching at diplomatic niceties while the perpetrator watches from thousands of miles away.
The fight isn't over. But the legal reality? Brutal.

🇹🇯 WELCOME TO TAJIKISTAN – WHERE DANCING OUTSIDE MOSQUES IS FIGHTING RADICALISM
Imagine this:
A Muslim-majority country. Friday prayers just ended. And instead of silence... there's drumming. Dancing. Celebration.
That's Tajikistan for you.
In a bold move to counter extremism, Tajik authorities actively encourage traditional dances and celebrations outside mosques—especially during religious holidays.
The logic?
✅ Radicalism thrives in isolation and rigidity
✅ Culture and joy create community connection
✅ You can't hate what you're busy celebrating with
While some hardliners frown at "mixing religion with dancing," Tajikistan stands firm: Moderate Islam doesn't hide in corners. It dances in the open.
---
🧠 KWAKU RICH VERDICT:
Not every fight against extremism requires tanks and troops. Sometimes it requires drums and dancing shoes.
Tajikistan understands something the rest of us forget: A people who celebrate together rarely radicalize each other.
Beautiful. And honestly? We love to see it. 🇹🇯❤️

🇮🇷🇮🇱 AT EVERY IRANIAN FREEDOM RALLY, ISRAELI FLAGS FLY HIGH
There's a pattern you can't ignore.
At protest after protest across Iran—women removing headscarves, students chanting for freedom, crowds defying security forces—one symbol keeps appearing.
The Israeli flag.
Not because they want to move to Tel Aviv. But because they know exactly who stands with them against the regime.
"That's because they know who their friends are. We both know the true colors of radicalism."
When your own government calls your ally the "Great Satan" and your enemy the "Little Satan"—and you still wave their flag in the face of bullets?
That's not politics. That's a message.
The people of Iran have made it clear: They don't hate who they're told to hate. And they know exactly who supports their fight for freedom. 🇮🇷❤️🇮🇱

🇳🇬🤝🇬🇭 Shear "Butter" War? Ghanaians Drag Nigerians Over 'Copied' Massage Concept
Ghanaians online are dragging Nigerians after a Lagos massage parlour popped up doing exactly what Ghana's famous Shea Butter Museum has been viral for.
The Lagos parlour posted videos of attendants in traditional Ghanaian kente, using calabashes filled with shea butter—looking eerily similar to the experience made famous by Hamamat Montia's museum after IShowSpeed's visit in January .
Reactions? Savage.
"Hamamat really paved the way... now look at the Nigerians too and they're even wearing kente 😂"
"Nigerians are always stealing ideas! They lack creativity but will open their stinking mouths to say others envy them."
"People only copy success. Nobody copies failure."
Some even dragged further: "They will later claim they started shea butter massage and kente is originally from Nigeria."
Context: Ghana's shea butter scene has been booming since IShowSpeed's visit left the museum fully booked for months. Celebrities like Davido and Popcaan have also stopped by .
Meanwhile, Nigeria recently banned raw shea nut exports to boost local processing—so this move into finished products like massage services fits their new "value addition" agenda .
But Ghanaians aren't buying the coincidence. Copycat or tribute? You decide. 👀

💪🏽 POWERFUL WORDS FROM NETANYAHU: "DO NOT BOW YOUR HEAD, FIGHT BACK"
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has just dropped a statement that's resonating far beyond the Middle East.
Speaking about the current climate and the challenges facing Jewish communities worldwide, Netanyahu said:
"Do not bow your head, fight back. This is what I tell Jewish people I meet. People respect those who respect themselves."
Short. Direct. Heavy. 💥
---
🧠 WHAT HE'S REALLY SAYING:
This isn't just rhetoric. It's a message with layers:
✅ "Do not bow your head" – defiance in the face of intimidation
✅ "Fight back" – not necessarily physical, but standing your ground
✅ "People respect those who respect themselves" – the oldest rule of power: confidence commands respect
---
📌 CONTEXT MATTERS:
This comes at a tense moment:
🔹 Iran nuclear talks hanging in the balance
🔹 Two U.S. aircraft carriers moving into the region
🔹 Trump's cryptic "final decision" statement still echoing
🔹 Rising global antisemitism concerns in multiple countries
Netanyahu's words feel like both a warning and a rallying cry.
---
🌍 HOW THE WORLD IS RESPONDING:
Reaction Vibe
Supporters "Finally, a leader with spine"
Critics "Provocative timing"
Neutrals "Respect yourself—hard to argue with that"
Iranian media Likely framing it as "Zionist aggression rhetoric"
---
🧠 KWAKU RICH VERDICT:
You don't have to agree with Netanyahu's politics to feel the weight of those words.
"People respect those who respect themselves" is universal. It applies to nations, communities, and individuals. Bullies—whether on the playground or the world stage—smell fear. Confidence? That changes the conversation.
Whether this is a message to his people, a signal to Iran, or both—it landed.
And the timing? With everything happening right now? Not accidental.
---
📌 STAY LOCKED:
We're watching how this plays into the broader U.S.-Iran-Israel situation. Trump's "final decision" could drop any moment. Netanyahu just drew a line.

💰 GH¢60,000 FOR ONE NIGHT: ESTHER SMITH REVEALS HOW A CHURCH “CHARGED HER BAD” FOR DECEMBER CONCERT
Veteran gospel singer Esther Smith has opened up about something that's clearly still sitting heavy on her chest—and Ghanaian social media is not letting it slide.
In a raw interview with blogger Kobby Kyei, the legendary songstress disclosed that an unnamed church charged her GH¢60,000 just to use its auditorium for her December concert.
One night. No discount. And still not enough chairs. 🪑💔
---
🗣️ “WE EVEN ASKED THEM TO REDUCE IT – THEY REFUSED.”
Esther didn't hold back:
“The church charged us GH¢60,000 for using the auditorium. We even had to hire extra chairs because the ones there were not enough. We used the place for just one night. It was too much.”
She made it clear: she wasn't asking for a freebie. Just fairness.
“We didn’t ask them to give us the place for free. We even asked them to reduce the fee, but they insisted on the GH¢60,000.”
---
⚖️ “IF THEY CALL ME TO MINISTER, I’LL CHARGE THEM THE SAME.”
And here's the part that hit home for many.
Esther sent a quiet but firm message to her fellow gospel acts:
“If such a pastor calls me to perform, I will equally charge the same amount. We need to demand what we deserve.”
No bitterness. Just business.
---
🙏🏾 THE OTHER CHURCH THAT BROKE HER HEART
She also shared another painful memory.
A different church—one she used to donate to—turned her down flat when she approached them to rent their auditorium.
Not because of money. Because she wasn't a member.
“Can you believe that when we approached them to rent their auditorium for my show, they told us they don’t rent their premises to non-members? I was really pained.”
The woman who once gave—asked to rent, and was told “no entry.”
---
🧠 CONTEXT: THIS ISN'T HER FIRST TIME SAYING THIS
Worth noting: back in November 2025, Esther revealed on Accra FM that she was still paying off debt from her 2024 programme—and the church auditorium alone cost her nearly GHC60,000 back then too.
So this isn't a one-off. This is a pattern wearing her down.
---
📌 WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR:
✅ Amount charged: GH¢60,000
✅ Duration: One night
✅ Extra cost: Had to hire own chairs
✅ Church: Name withheld (but clearly a known one)
✅ Other church: Refused her because she's “not a member”
✅ Esther's stance: Charge them back. Fair is fair.
---
🧾 KWAKU RICH VERDICT:
Here's the thing.
We often talk about “blessing others” and “serving God with your gift.” But when a woman who has given decades to gospel music—who donated to churches out of her own pocket—is charged six figures to use a sanctuary she helped build through her offerings? Something is off.
Esther isn't attacking the church. She's just asking: don't commercialise the same pulpit you expect us to minister from for free.
And honestly? That conversation is long overdue.
---
💬 WHAT DO YOU THINK?
Should churches charge gospel artists for venue use? Or is this a betrayal of the very meaning of “house of God”? Drop your take. Let's talk.

🧠 WHAT IT’S ABOUT:
This isn’t just a song. It’s a statement of war—the quiet kind.
“Silent Samurai” is built around the image of a warrior who doesn’t need to scream to be feared. Stonebwoy spends the entire track reminding us: discipline over drama. Results over noise. He weaves through English, Patois, and street vernacular like a man who’s been holding this energy for years and finally decided to let it breathe .

Heavy.

Elon Musk vs. Julius Malema: A Clash of Titans in South Africa’s Political Arena
By Kwaku Rich
Full Video 👇👇👇
The world’s richest man, Elon Musk, and South Africa’s fiery political leader, Julius Malema, have locked horns in a dramatic showdown that has captured global attention. The spat began when Musk called for Malema to be declared an “international criminal” on X (formerly Twitter), prompting the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader to fire back with a defiant “go to hell” response. This clash has reignited debates about race, imperialism, and the role of foreign influence in South Africa’s politics. Here’s a deep dive into the controversy and its implications.
The Spark: Musk’s Call for Sanctions
Elon Musk, the South Africa-born billionaire and CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, took to X to demand immediate sanctions against Julius Malema, labeling him an “international criminal.” This call came in response to a resurfaced 2018 video in which Malema, leader of the EFF, made controversial remarks about targeting white politicians, including Nelson Mandela Bay Mayor Athol Trollip. In the video, Malema stated, “We are starting with this whiteness. We are cutting the throat of whiteness” .
Musk accused Malema of inciting genocide against white South Africans, calling his rhetoric “a serious crime” and urging South African President Cyril Ramaphosa to take action . Musk’s intervention has been seen by many as an attempt to influence South Africa’s domestic politics, a move that has drawn sharp criticism from Malema and his supporters.
Malema’s Fiery Response
Julius Malema, known for his unapologetic stance on racial equality and land reform, did not hold back in his response to Musk. He dismissed the billionaire as a “spoiled brat” and a “direct beneficiary of Apartheid whiteness,” accusing him of being out of touch with South Africa’s history and struggles .
In a strongly worded statement, Malema declared, “I don’t care about your sanctions; I will never stop fighting for black people to be equal to white people, and if that makes me an international criminal, I am proud to be one” . The EFF also rallied behind its leader, labeling Musk an “enemy of South Africa” and accusing him of meddling in the country’s sovereignty .
The Broader Context: Race, Land, and Imperialism
This clash is not just a personal feud; it reflects deeper tensions in South Africa’s socio-political landscape. Malema’s rhetoric, often seen as divisive, is rooted in the country’s history of apartheid and the ongoing struggle for land reform. The EFF has long advocated for the expropriation of land without compensation, a policy that has drawn criticism from both domestic and international quarters .
Musk’s intervention, on the other hand, has been viewed by many as an extension of Western imperialism. The EFF accused Musk of using his influence to undermine South Africa’s sovereignty and advance his business interests, particularly in light of his attempts to launch Starlink in the country without complying with local ownership requirements .
Global Reactions and Implications
The Musk-Malema spat has sparked a wave of reactions both within South Africa and internationally. Many South Africans have rallied behind Malema, viewing Musk’s comments as an unwarranted intrusion into their domestic affairs. Social media has been flooded with messages of support for Malema, with some users declaring, “We stand with Julius Malema in these difficult times” .
On the global stage, the controversy has highlighted the growing tensions between South Africa and the United States, particularly in light of recent diplomatic spats over land reform and foreign aid. The EFF has warned that Musk’s actions could further strain relations between the two nations, with potential economic repercussions for South Africa .
Conclusion: A Battle of Ideologies
The clash between Elon Musk and Julius Malema is more than just a war of words; it is a battle of ideologies. On one side is a billionaire tech mogul advocating for global influence and free-market capitalism. On the other is a populist leader fighting for racial equality and economic justice in a country still grappling with the legacy of apartheid.
As the dust settles, one thing is clear: this controversy has put South Africa’s political struggles under the global spotlight, forcing the world to confront uncomfortable questions about race, power, and sovereignty. Whether this clash will lead to meaningful change or further division remains to be seen, but one thing is certain—Julius Malema and Elon Musk are not backing down anytime soon.
What do you think?
Is Musk’s intervention justified, or is it an overreach into South Africa’s domestic affairs? Should Malema’s rhetoric be condemned, or is it a necessary voice in the fight for equality? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

A Week of Achievements: Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Five Districts Water Supply Project
This week, I had the honour of unveiling the magnificent Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, which has been transformed into a modern and beautiful tourist attraction. This project was completed in just one year after I laid the foundation stone for the renovation work.
The park is now a fitting tribute to the legacy of the great leader who guided us to freedom and independence in 1957. It showcases his life and achievements through interactive exhibits, sculptures and gardens.
On Monday, 3rd July, 2023, I also inaugurated Phase Three of the Five Districts Water Supply Project at Adaklu in the Volta Region. This project will provide clean and safe drinking water to over 89,000 people in 95 communities in Central Tongu, Adaklu and Agotime-Ziope districts. The water will be sourced from the Volta River at Adidome, where a new treatment plant has been built.
These projects are part of my vision to improve the quality of life and well-being of all Ghanaians. I am committed to delivering on my promises and ensuring that no one is left behind.

If you are looking for a place to learn about the history and culture of Ghana, then you should definitely visit the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park in Accra. This park is not only a beautiful and serene place to relax, but also a tribute to the life and legacy of Ghana's first President and Pan-Africanist, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
Who was Kwame Nkrumah?
Kwame Nkrumah was born on September 21, 1909 in Nkroful, a small town in the Western Region of Ghana. He was a teacher, a journalist, a politician, and a visionary leader who fought for the independence and unity of Ghana and Africa. He led the Gold Coast (now Ghana) to become the first sub-Saharan African country to gain independence from British colonial rule on March 6, 1957. He became the Prime Minister of Ghana and later the President of the Republic. He also championed the cause of African unity and co-founded the Organization of African Unity (now African Union) in 1963. He was overthrown by a military coup in 1966 while he was on a peace mission in Vietnam. He died in exile in Bucharest, Romania on April 27, 1972.
What can you see at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park?
The Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park covers an area of about five acres and is located on the site of the former British colonial polo grounds, where Nkrumah declared Ghana's independence in 1957. The park consists of three main attractions: the mausoleum, the museum, and the statue.
- The mausoleum is a marble structure that houses the mortal remains of Nkrumah and his wife Fathia Nkrumah. It is designed to resemble an upside-down sword, which is a symbol of peace in Akan culture. The mausoleum is surrounded by water, which represents life. A skylight at the top illuminates the grave, which is marked by a simple marble slab.
- The museum is an underground building that displays various objects and documents related to Nkrumah's life and achievements. You can see his personal belongings, such as his clothes, books, pens, glasses, and shoes. You can also see his awards, medals, photographs, letters, speeches, and publications. The museum also has audio-visual exhibits that show Nkrumah's speeches and interviews.
- The statue is a bronze sculpture that depicts Nkrumah standing tall and waving to the crowd. It is placed on a pedestal that bears his famous quote: "Seek ye first the political kingdom and all other things shall be added unto you". The statue faces the Independence Square, where Nkrumah delivered his historic speech on March 6, 1957.
