There's a point beyond which focusing too much on the rarity of certain video game achievements becomes a sort of unintentional self-own on the part of the developer. Like, yeah, sometimes "only 0.5% of players have this achievement" feels like an accomplishment, but more often it's like "yeah, I fucking bet".

April Devlog! Compiled everything below cut.

Twisted ai script was updated, rolled out around the squirm update, allowing more variety and personality between twisteds.

Blushcrunch is planning on having the game leave alpha this year, sending it to version 1.0

Lore and gameplay mechanics are being worked on now.

Toon of the week: Update time will be dedicated to an existing toon, allowing each toon to be reevaluated, and fixed and changed, so they and their twisteds can shine in the gameplay.

Sprout will be our first toon of the week.

[Mod note This looks like we'll be getting a golden skin for each toon! Neat!]

During this event, sprout is planned to receive new in-game lore videos,a general polish, and some twisted ai behavior tweaks. There will also be sprout themed rewards available during sprout's week.

Example: Twisted sprout may follow twisted cosmo around the map if they appear on the same floor.

He may also stop in front of posters to compare himself to the art.

Squirm is a good example of what Qwel has planned for twisteds going forward.

There won't be a twisted if the week every week, but it will be a way to slowly work throughout all the toons.

Other planned updates:

Veemail, a system meant to let you gift other players ingame items, such as ichor and gamepasses.

Two-Person machine: a new machine where two players can work together to complete it faster.

Swimmy barnaby: A minigame that will be added to the lobby.

So I've played a messy MC before, but this most recent playthrough is the worst I've ever been. I kissed Tobin in the locker room after the doubles match. After I won the singles match I ran and kissed Geneviève and then when Sam cornered me after I kissed her too. All in all to say, I think this is a situation that should lead to it on standard game over LOL.

All jokes aside I might actually implement an achievement for kissing all the ROs at the end of the game maybe?
