Alright, we’re coming up on the year anniversary of a lot of big positive changes in my life.
I’m in Paris right now and I was drinking a bottle of Prosecco by the Eiffel Tower earlier at sunset. I was thinking about how far I’ve come in a year and how much my life has changed…..I’m so happy and thankful. 2018-2021 me would be so proud of 2022 me right now 🥲
Just read my old posts and wow, the GROWTH. Last year was a big year and I’m so proud of what I achieved. New car, new job, new apt, new nose ring, among other things.
So what if I’m still single. I am over the moon ecstatic that I don’t have to walk on eggshells around people anymore.
Growth can sometimes be really painful.

Just thought I’d report back and say that it’s been about a month since I moved and I am so much happier.
OOOH. We depressed. Time to find a therapist.
Also whyyyyy do I let people get close to me emotionally? In the words of Taking Back Sunday, I’ve got a bad feeling about this. I knew this situation would fuck me up 2 years ago and I made zero attempts to lessen the effect.
I’d say maybe it’s unreasonable of me to expect a same day reply to a text but fuck that, it’s a fucking pandemic. What else are you doing that you can’t reply.
Also I got promoted at work. At least I’m kickin ass professionally.

I am house sitting / dog sitting and I get to go home in 2 days. I’m so excited. It means I can start packing for my move.

Sunday Funday?
I’ve been in a funk all weekend and I’ve been trying to combat this by working out more. Did a 45 min class on the bike today and followed up with a 10 min cooldown and 5 min stretch. I also think I need to track my calories more because I’m somehow at my emergency weight.
I’m still waiting for approval to move so that’s frustrating too.

I’ve been so productive today. Crossed off a bunch of errands and even managed to do a few loads of laundry. Repotted my neon pothos.
I should be in Nola celebrating my birthday with friends and obviously I’m not because of covid. On the bright side, I’m not sweating in the Louisiana heat!
My request to move is still pending approval, which is SUPER frustrating because I can’t sign a lease yet.
Really hope I’m not making a dumb decision moving back
