Random shit about Jewel bc i am constantly thinking about this angel:

Literally a medical doctor as well as an ordained minister. She went to school for that shit and you'd better address her appropriately

Biiiig fan of cheap serialized romance novels. Particularly a fan of knights in shining armor who simply whisk the heroine's troubles away. No she has not reflected on this at all.

Gardener mostly out of necessity when she was still practicing as a healer, to make sure she had her own medicine on hand. On that note she was essentially the Everything Doctor for her parish, though she wasnt a stranger to seek more expert advice

She has lived with the same person for ~30 years, her best friend Helena. Helena is an angel and at the time was learning how to become a healer herself, though she found it difficult with her background as a soldier. She ended up putting those goals on hold after Jewel passed, wanting to stay with them as they adjusted to their new angelic life. Jewel will tell you they are merely very close friends :)

She has a pet mini-gryphon named Jiji. Hes a crusty old man, a cross between a cockatoo and a persian cat, hates everyone except for them. He spends most of his days sleeping on her pillows.

Shout out to the time I stepped into a record shop and they were just. Absolutely blasting Corncerning Hobbits. Really set the mood as I was thumbing through their alt rock selection LMAO

Messing with color.... originally he had a red color palette because Fire. But I thought the blue fit his more low-key vibe. Plus theres (my excuse) that blue fire is hotter than red... and he's supposed to be super poweful... also gave him glasses because actually he's a huge nerd

Concepting a new fursona.... I LOVE Adagio but I cant put her in any clothes I actually wear because her colors clash so much LOL. And idk, she feels really cutesy in a way that I don't really identify with anymore. Still thinking of a name for her - leaning towards Aria or Melody!
