Exactly. I don’t think anyone is accusing the showrunners of being homophobic, but that doesn’t mean we don’t think that some of these people could have homophobic tendencies. When you neglect the only canonically queer person in a show, it’s suspicious at best. Yes they deserve credit for putting a gay kid ina Disney show, but no they shouldn’t be praised for their mishandling of the storyline.

im logging off. to the andi mack crew and cast i will apologize on the behalf of the majority of the fandom. yall are awesome and are really doing a good job. this show would’ve have met everything to me as a young non straight kid with anxiety and other issues. you really don’t deserve slander this show is SO important to me and others, much more important than ships ❤️
