I wanted to capture the book versions, but the film adaptations still have an iron grip on me, so you might see some similarities

I was rereading the hunger games and noticed how katniss sometimes had to act against her discomfort to wash her clothes and peeta's clothes especially when she found him wounded and dirty everything is televised for entertainment. Also read some nasty fan theory that they did 'it' while hiding in the cave WHEN THEY literally were 16

I think JLB managed to make a few really clever mystery series appealing to the people who were there for the plot, the people who were there for the complex characters, and the people who were there for the relationships. And like. Damn girl let's have a round of applause. That shit is hard to do.
