The fact that there are so many anti-woke X-Men fans has convinced me that having self-awareness is outright prohibited in conservatism. Being an anti-woke Marvel fan in general already exposes you for being bereft of media literacy, but how do you fix your lips to claim that Nazi-punching Captain America would don a MAGA hat? That’s a level of delulu that needs to be studied.

The way conservatives are in denial about the fact that they’re the bad guys in most of their favorite stories…

You obviously don't know a thing about politics. Woke is anti-freedom, you want to impose your way of thinking and made everyone bow to your ideas, and try to cancel everyone who doesn't agree. For your information, nazis were socialists, like fascist. Most conservatives don't give a flying fick about your way of life, you can do whatever you want, just leave us alone. I'll remind you that Martin Luther King was Republican. The X-men were created by two Jewish men, and the rejection mutants suffered was a metaphore for antisemitism. Utopia was Israel. And for Cap punching nazis, Churcill was a conservative, and General Eisenhower, the guy who directed the war against the nazis, was a Republican president. He was the one who ended segregation in schools and sent the National Guard to protect black children from racists people who wanted to continue segregation. I know all of this and I'm not even american. Read a history book and grow up.
