Hi! First off i wanted to say i think your art is so incredibly amazing, i've never seen anything like it! It's got this timeless quality to it that i find so fascinating....I was curious to know if you have any big inspirations when it comes to your work, or any favourite artists or art movements in general?
Have a great day/night💙
Hello, thank you kindly for your words!
My main inspiration source is a desire to explore: a character, a feeling, a texture. It can be some piece of armor that i saw on pinterest, some work of art that i see in museums, or things that i see in nature on my walk. The music is also something that has been feeding me images for many years. Usually the idea comes to my mind in an already composed picture, and i do my best in transfering it to the canvas; sometimes, however, i toggle composition and colours until the image suits me right.
As for art history, i have favourite works in almost every time and period. However, the mouvements that resonate with me the most are Renaissance of Quattrocento, impressionism + realism of 19th century (19th century is amazing regarding art history. i love it deeply), and Pre-Raphaelite brotherhood. As for certain artists - the ones that come to my mind first are Caravaggio, Botticelli, Klimt, Courbet, Piero della Francesca and many-many others than I cannot remember now.
Have a great day as well!

You are so ridiculously talented- your art is such a treat to look at! It's gorgeous and his this air of almost fairy-like mystique to it. It makes me think of Tolkein for some reason, and has been hugely inspirational for my own artistic process! Art like yours is always a gem to find, because it really pushes the possibilities of what art can be. I have a hard time putting this into words, but it's so vibrant yet so romantically "dark" at the same time. I also love how it blends realism with the abstract, especially in your use of colors. Really excellent work you should be proud of. Have a lovely day!
thank you so so much!!!
Tolkien books really set up my course and impacted all of life's spheres, and art was not an exeption. Drawing was always my favourite activity, but it is after reading Tolkien specifically that I've started to make my first conscious illustrations and seek improvement. If you say that my art has a vibe of my favourite world then I can rest happily! And I am so glad that my pieces inspire people; for me as for an artist (and as for a person who studies now history of art also) to know that by creating art I'm encouraging people to create as well is the highest reward. Thank you again for your words, and have a great day too!

Your last ask inspired me: your art has the unbelievably evocative air of the old masters. Sometimes I feel like it's evoking the scope and grandeur of works like Mucha's Slav Epic. I really feel as though you deserve a patron of the arts to support your work so that you don't have to do anything but make art and I'm so glad to be on Tumblr with you.
Oh my, you people are so kind! 🥺
Thank you so much for appreciating my art + to be compared to the old masters and one of my favourite painter is a great honour!
To have some king or duke who provides you with protection and resources while you be drawing your silly little pictures...we should bring back this concept in our patronageless 2025 A.D.
Thank you so much, you've truly brightened my day! I'm also very glad to be here and to share my works with you all!
