PROLOGUE / INTRO

overworked.

modern au.

kento works at a boring office job, yet he never complained. it didn’t ask much of him, just a few little tasks that usually ended when his day did. the job came with a comfortable routine too; wake up, get breakfast on the way to work, work, go home, see his spouse and spend the time he had with them before going to bed and repeating it the next day. it was his comfort, the same routine day by day. it kept him on track and made enough money to keep him and his spouse afloat.

yet, as kento’s boss watched his work stay steady and perfect, he slowly loaded more work onto him—things that his colleagues hadn’t finished or things that needed fixing. coworkers put work on his desk without a word, like they knew he’d pick up the slack. it slowly piled up until he was forced to stay overtime every night. it seeped into the time he got to spend with his spouse, slowly turning that time into something his spouse came to dread. everytime the time struck 5:30PM, the same text would come in: “staying late, don’t stay up too long.”

a month had passed since the overworking first started, making his spouse worried and lonely. kento’s spouse soon turned to social media, posting anything that their mind came up with; things they would’ve told kento, speaking about kento, or just pictures of random items and stuff they found interesting.

synopsis — as kento is forced into overtime each night, his spouse starts to feel a bit neglected. there was little he could do besides apolgize and try his best to be there in time, yet it does little to soothe the longing that churns in his spouse’s chest—the longing for more time together, the longing that kento would choose something other than work and simply enjoy the time they have together. the time without him is used on social media and randomly texting friends to try and dull the loneliness that sat in their chest.

little does kento’s spouse know of the small secret he holds.

HI EVERYONE ! ! UPDATE(S)

im currently working on the smau as i type :3 i have a little story behind it so i know where im going! i’m gunna hope to keep it short, as it’s my first one!! hopefully 5-7 parts.. as i go on and write more, i’ll definitely do longer and longer series ( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ )

the one that won is the overworked nanami!! <3 i will work on it as the first work that i will post on here! i hope it will live up to your expectations and you enjoy what i have to write <3 my next post will be the parts of the smau so it’s easy to go and find the parts in one place! as parts come out, i’ll link them there.

also, the next work that i will be doing is finishing up the nightly routine with husband nanami then doing an ino takuma smau!! i quite love ino and he needs some love, so!! (im actually really excited and i really wanna start it now but i also have a few things to do… so i gotta wait)
