If I had a nickel for every instance I was aware of where an athlete on a womens sports team stole her teammates identity and committed credit card fraud and was caught but nothing happened to her because she was too valuable an athlete to meaningfully discipline and she outperformed her victim in competition, I would have 10 cents. Which isnât a lot but itâs weird itâs happened twice.
