One takeaway from watching Attack on Titan is that hits the hardest for me how sad it is to chase love so badly that you're willing to protect your abuser and the devastating consequences that follow

Last night I finally finished Attack on Titan and it was without a doubt one of the best, if not the best, animes I've ever seen. I genuinely had no plans to never watch it but I made a deal with my brother that if he watched JJK I would watch AOT in return since he fell in love with it. Honestly, I got the better end of the deal lmao.
