How did sprout react to Cosmo being created? Was Cosmo shy at first (clinging to Delilah) or did they click immediately

There was an official storyboard that portrayed the first time they met buuut... I don't consider them canon! It's a storyboard for a cartoon after all, it could've been entirely different in real life

I wanted to show here just how differently the founders treat the Toons. Arthur uses a more friendly approach, and Delilah tries to keep everything professional and sterile. The only reason Delilah carried Cosmo is because it was a faster way to get from her office to the lobby, than letting him follow her with his tiny steps. She wouldn't do it normally. It was only for efficiency.

They were both shy at first but I feel like if Delilah was able to create the Toons with their exact personalities as Arthur described them, then I feel like there could be some memories of a potential friend Sprout should've had. And when he finally met him, they clicked like two puzzle pieces.

Bonus:

So me and my Sib (@rustedpens) have been insane about Dandy’s world recently, specifically the handlers, and we pulled an AU out of our ass.

Basically, once Arthur finds out about Gardenview’s need for a close, he vents to Delilah about how its his lifes work, how he has nothing but Gardenview and his toons. Oh, his toons.. what would he think of himself if he just.. left them? And she asks, why would they have to leave? They could stay.. right here.

They could be TOONS!! Thats a great idea.. why didn’t HE think of that? Of course, the moral implications could be.. confusing, to say the least, for the toons. They’d need to blend in.. how? By writing themselves as part of the Dandy’s World plot, of course! Now they don’t have to worry about ANYTHING.. not about the toons, not about their jobs.. not even their life, you could say!

Of course, being insane about the handlers, they drew like one million things so.. Skins!!

Hmm I wonder why that 2nd one looks off anyways here’s little scenarios!!!!

ive been wondering how toons see Delilah and arthur, because in both the music videos we've gotten so far bobette and gourdy both see and reach out for them..but its weird cause gourdy definitely doesn't see them as parents.

(Unless you wanna theorise that arthur and delilah are his actual parental figure related memories and he just doesnt remember and is hallucinating but ok tiger)

Idk i just wanna know the general consensus on what we think delilah and arthur are to the toons cause has any toon ever really mentioned them besides from the mains or dandy or something???
