did y’all know that this is the first frog i ever drew?? many months before son was created we see this ancient prototype frog

if we study him, we see that while he still has the very blank expression that son is known for, his nose is not quite as pointy. His legs are also more detailed, he has tiny webbed hands and feet as opposed to balls attached to sticks. another interesting aspect is his bright green color and lack of blush. while son the frog tends to look at little blue at times, we see here that his predecessor is a completely different shade.

nothing too serious is up, but i just wanted to let you guys know that i’ve mostly phased out (is that the word?) of my fixation (not the interest, just the energy) with hakuoki

i also wanted to issue an official statement about my lack of posting and activity on my hakuoki blogs
