Some of the best places to skate were in the middle of town, where the sidewalks were well paved and there were hardly any cracks to be found, it was where she got her leg work in when she was out and about in the town. Not wanting to go home just yet, Remy found herself rolling past the mayor’s office, taking a short cut when she caught a whiff of something good. The skater rolled her way back to where the smell was coming from and she paused, smirk on her lips as she stopped in front of the woman smoking. “I didn’t mean to interrupt you,” Remy started, offering an apologetic smile before she nodded towards the blunt in the other’s fingers. “I was summoned by the devil’s lettuce–” she finished, smirking and rolling slightly to the side to get out of the way of the sun.
“Does anyone actually call it that?” she questioned, taking another hit. She wasn’t about to let the blunt go to waste simply because someone decided to interrupt her session. Raising an eyebrow at the fact that the woman was still there, Kyrie took yet another drag before holding it out to her. “If you’re gonna ask if you can have a hit, sure, but don’t just stand there.” Kyrie wouldn’t admit it, but she’d been lonely as of late; it would be nice to have someone to talk to, even if it was brief, even if it was inconsequential. She hated small talk, but even small talk was better than nothing.
