Hello everyone-- long time no see!!

I took an extended leave due to it being my first semester of college, but I’ll be coming back over the next two weeks. My semester is about done and I wanna get back into the swing of things~

Even if Momo fell in love, she couldn’t date them due to the strict ‘love bans’ a lot of Japanese idols have to follow. It would either be the money for her family or the love of her life; and no matter what, her family comes first.

This ban also explains why she’s always out of school and in a special class. It’s normally more than a contract, after all. One of the most popular ways of enforcing the rules is to pack up their schedule. That, or they won’t tell the idol their schedule until the day before. That way she can’t plan ahead too much.

✘ Any unpopular opinions about your muse?

Okay... Umi is NOT A BORING CHARACTER. I repeat-- SHE IS NOT BORING. I feel like a lot of people who say she’s boring are people who only watch the anime, but that does not change anything. 

Umi has a lot going on up in her head. She is pretty damn smart (which, contrary to popular belief, isn’t boring. Most smart people I know are VERY interesting), constantly worrying about everything, and has had to grow out of being her prude self-- which is character development. Yay!!

Though one of her most interesting points, in my opinion, is her future. For example, in one of the stories, the rest of muse is freaking out because they think Umi is about to inherit her family’s studio-- where they teach dance and some form of martial arts (I need to check on this)-- and will have to leave muse. Though it turns out that Umi still has some time before that happens...

HOWEVER--

Something that is still unclear is Umi’s thoughts on this future. All she told muse was that she still had a while before she became the next head, but she gave no hints as to how she felt about that. And that’s an internal struggle I like to think about.

She always preferred being with her best friend-- and this circumstance wasn’t any different, but she couldn’t help but worry about the cat-girl. She was Hanayo’s dearest friend, after all. She would always worry about every little thing Rin seems to do... even if she shouldn’t. “Maybe you and Hanayo should go find something else to do...”

Her brother-- Shintaro-- had been bringing this particular girl over for a while; and if the young girl knew anything at all, it was that her brother wouldn’t do anything without a reason. So the young girl was curious-- were they just friends; did this girl need tutoring (like she did); or was he capable of actually loving someone else? Either way, Momo just had to know, so this looked like a job for her alone!!

“What’s your name?” she questioned before the other could even respond to the first inquiry.
