hello, i’m Taylor and i’m 20 years old. i’m homeless and i live out of my car with my 8month old puppy Michi.
i’m also originally homeless for leaving a household that had heroin addict, cocaine addict, and severe alcohol addict. (three different people as well with all different addictions).at this time, i was homeless in Illinois but, after a “friend” learned i was self harming at the time he chose on that alone to let me move in. i drove 6 hours the same day he told me i could move in from Peoria, Illinois all the way to Gand Rapids, Michigan. the man never mentioned he had another male roommate or the fact they deal & manufacture drugs within the household. not to mention, the fact the guys had no idea how to clean up after themselves. when i arrived to the house it was F I L T H Y. the house was littered with trash, cat urine/feces, the trash was over flowing 4 different trash cans, ect. (at the time i couldn’t complain since it was a free bedroom and after almost a year of sleeping in my passenger seat, i was just beyond tired. it seemed way too good to be true haha as we see now it absolutely was)
one of the roommate has kicked my 8month old dog three times all on different occasions and when asked to stop the guy would blame his ADHD as the reason.
i witnessed a mother with her two year old come over, ask for some weed, and then proceeded to roll the blunt in front of the baby and left and as she pulled off in her car she sparked the blunt with a whole baby in the backseat. that is one example of the terrible things i witnessed go on.
yes, i did choose to leave that environment on my own. i did not want to be caught up somehow or someway in those men’s dealings. i was worried about my own safety and well being.
TLDR: i’m homeless and in a state i really don’t know and it’s only been a month. all of the homeless outreach programs cost money somehow and i keep being turned away. i’m still applying to jobs, as well. until my luck makes a big fucking u-turn i’m reaching out for help from anyone that is willing to. anything helps, even a simple reblog. thank you so much for reading my story and hearing me out. have a wonderful day or night 💖💖
