I think of it as Riddle lowering himself to ask Harry to take him under as his apprentice in order to achieve immortality.

gosh, i wish i could stuff your art in my mouth and just let it sit on my tongue and savor it for days on end. i don't think you realize how much i adore your style; like, this is the kind of art i aspire to achieve one day if i could figure out the secret behind actually having the motivation 💔

Ahhhh thank you! This made me wear a stupid grin for the rest of the day! You have no idea how much it means to me 😌 honestly I just push myself through art works and take really long breaks in between— I’m still struggling to draw Tom Riddle, Harry is just infinitely easier!

Anyways.. I always have to physically restrain myself from adding loose strands of hair to Tom- because he’s supposed to be impeccably dressed…

I'd like to think in a modern universe, Harry tries tackling his hair with bobby pins made by Luna. Like, imagine Ron walking into Harry in the mornings trying to deal with the black bird's nest with intense viciousness as he tries pinning his hair with a bobby pin with a sunflower that was clumsily hot-glued on by Luna. Or any other small trinkets that Luna glues on for her hair and lets Harry borrow- I bet she would ask him if he would want some as well because it's one way of dealing with bedhead in the morning ^^
