Once Aemonds and Lucerys first child is born, the midwives question them on names.
Before Aemond can utter an answer, Lucerys replies from the birthing bed with much more energy than one who had just pushed a living being out of their body should have.
"Aegon IV!"
And Aemond stares at him in horror and betrayal, as though Lucerys had personally stabbed his other eye out and laughed.
Lucerys had apologized for the joke– having decided on the name they'd both chosen; Laenys, yet Aemond continued to ignore him.
Only for the next few hours until the babe grew hungry and latched onto Lucerys chest.
Aemond had become interested then.
HOTD x HTTYD CROSSOVER
Where Lucerys mother and father had perished in the dragon seige many years ago and were taken in by Harwin Strong, who became the new chief of their village.
Lucerys was never great at killing dragons, having never done so before.
But he tried. He tried so hard, yet could never get the killing blow.
His older brother Jacaerys, and younger brother Joffrey were great warriors. They had slaughtered many of the firey beasts, and Lucerys failed to capture even 1.
Until one night, a dragon gets caught in his snare and tumbles out of the sky. None witnessed it, so Lucerys will only tell once he'd made sure the dragon didn't escape.
Once the sun rises, Lucerys is out with a blade in hand.
He will not come back empty-handed.
It took many hours before he saw trees shattered and broken, and he stalks closer.
He cannot help but gasp at the sight.
The dragon is large, much larger than most he's seen– which is saying something, as Harwin enjoys taking his sons on adventures.
But not only that.
It was stark white. The scales were nearly blinding, Lucerys was forced to squint lest he loses his eyesight. The dragon was lean yet broad– likely built for both speed and strength. Horns fading into purple covered the beast.
The web of the wings was a light purple as well– the beast was the most gorgeous thing Lucerys had ever seen.
It lay on its left side, and a pool of blood grew under its head.
Lucerys tried pushing the worry out of his head as he moved closer.
A branch broke and the dragon's body tensed, not yet looking up but prepared to fight back– if only several ropes from Lucerys contraption had not tangled themselves around it, leaving no movement allowed.
Pushing through the fear, Lucerys stopped before the beast's head.
(It was nearly as large as Lucerys himself. Perhaps another year or so, and the dragon would be able to swallow Lucerys whole.)
A purple eye opened and stared at Lucerys, unblinking as Lucerys held the blade above his head.
Breathing growing ragged, Lucerys could not look away from the eye of jewels, limbs trembling as the beast stared back at him, unable to distinguish what it was feeling, what it would say if it could speak.
He could not break eye contact.
Heart in his throat, choking on it.
His brows furrowed as he bit his bottom lip.
The Dragon closed its eyes.
Lucerys brought the blade down.
A purple eye opened again, puzzled, as the rope around its body began to loosen.
Lucerys grit his teeth, staring down at the beasts moving belly as it inhaled and exhaled, focused on cutting through the ropes.
He was a failure.
He could not bring himself to kill a dragon.
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry I cannot do it."
Lucerys murmured, tears clouding his vision as he cut away the last of the rope.
He knelt there, both boy and Dragon unmoving.
And then the Dragon lept up and Lucerys fell against the ground. The beast towered over Lucerys– even in its hunched form as spits and hisses fell from its maw that could easily tear Lucerys apart.
The sound stopped as both took in one another, properly.
Lucerys, lay back against the floor, breathing erratic as tears slipped down
cheeks of a rosy red, lips spread with puffs of air leaking from them. Terrified.
The dragon, large and white, ichor slipping down the left side of its face from its eye, staining its scales a pink.
It was silent, as the guilt grew in Lucerys at what he'd done.
He failed to stifle the sob tearing his throat, and the dragon looked surprised before it hardened once again.
"I-I am so sor–" a scream slipped from his lips, cutting his words short as a talon the size of him covered him.
Lucerys tried scrambling away, jumping up and running.
The claws closed around him, and the beast took off.
Lucerys screams did not dim, in fact, they grew louder. Staring upside down as his village grew further and further until it was gone.
Black clouded his vision and Lucerys passed out.
IVE BEEN STARVING YOU ALL AND IM SO SORRY, LET ME CHANGE THAT
Aemond: Get out of my sight!
Lucerys: okay... could you stop blocking the door?
Aemond, absolutely offended: so you can just leave me? I won't allow it.
Ohhh I love your high school au!!! Pls write more if you can 💕💕😭
To be truthful, when writing it I had no idea where I was going with it! I just wanted to write Aemond coming back over summer break, and going from a scrawny glasses wearing kid to this sculpture hand crafted by the goddess of beauty herself.
This story was my longest idea/thread I'd written so far, and I would be lying if I said it was not my favourite one to date. I really wish write more of it, but I have no idea where to go from there 😭
I'm so glad you like it though! It surprisingly got more attention that I was expecting and I'm glad 😭❤️
Whether I'll add more or not is still up to debate!
Lucemond high-school au!
Lucerys has always been pretty, and it shows with his popularity. Unfortunately, along with popularity comes love confessions, which Lucerys rejected quite regularly.
Aemond Targaryen– one of the 'nerds' of the school, short in stature as well as glasses (only 1 side had a lense, supposedly the other eye is fake) and only known throughout the school due to his older brother, Aegon Targaryen who throws some of the best parties, chooses the last day of this school year to ask Lucerys out.
Lucerys lets him down softly, apologizing as he's not looking to be in a relationship right now.
Aemond Targaryen seems dejected, but Lucerys is surprised when the boy puffs his chest and nods, confidentially saying
"Then I'll wait!"
And Lucerys heart coo's at the cute sight. It's highly unlikely that he'd date Aemond Targaryen (He wants to be held down and railed, okay 🙄) but Lucerys had to admit, the boy was adorable.
So he ruffles the white locks teasingly and agrees, not having the heart to let the boy down once again.
Summer break comes and goes, and Lucerys walks in with his curls longer than the previous year, a bright smile on his face, and ready to face another school year.
He stands at his locker, messing around before Rhaena knocks into the locker next to his, gasping for air and eyes wide, face flushed from exertion and something else.
"Holy shit, I just saw the hottest dude."
Lucerys huffs, rolls his eyes, and closes the locker, turning to face Rhaena head-on with a raised eyebrow.
"Why hello Rhaena. It's so nice to see you Rhaena. How was my break? It was refreshing, and much needed. Yours? Good? Great." Lucerys huffed, deadpanned as Rhaena's blush darkened, swatting at his arm.
"Sorry sorry, yes my break was good. Grandfather misses you, by the way."
He and Rhaena were cousins, her mother and his father were siblings. They'd grown up together, before the divorce of their parents split them up.
Lucerys smiled softly, he'd been meaning to visit Corlys, but the man was nearly always out at sea, whether that be on business or on his yacht, their availability never matched, and it had been many months since he'd seen his grandfather.
"Well, if you happen to see him again before me, be sure to tell him I miss him too."
Rhaena gave a nod, before returning to the main reason she had sprinted here.
"Okay, so, I was walking around showing a new kid to the office, poor thing got lost. On the way back, I heard a little commotion and when I looked over, I saw the Baratheon girls giggling and pointing at something. You know me and my curiosity, I had to investigate!"
Lucerys can agree. Rhaena had always been a curious thing, to the point Lucerys could never hide anything from her as she would figure it out somehow.
It helped with others, always being one of the first to know about rumors or secrets many hid.
"I walk over and, low and behold, the most gorgeous sight I've ever laid my eyes on. Some guy– he must be at least 6'2, he was huge. Jacked. Like pick me up with one arm and throw me over his shoulders jacked. I couldn't see much, as he had his back to me. But I didn't need much. Long white hair? Leather jacket over those broad shoulders? I was on the floor. A puddle. I was gonna die Luce, I was ready to risk it all right then and there!!"
The girl babbled, and Lucerys blinked, unsurprised. Rhaena always had a thing for guys that could throw her without even blinking (not that Lucerys didn't, but he was more silent on it).
"Well? Why didn't you? Nothing ever stopped you from admitting your attraction before."
Rhaena, many times before, had gone up to those she found attractive and admitted it to their face. If they rejected her, she'd shrug it off, an attempt was an attempt. And if they returned said feelings, then it was a win in her book.
"You see, I was. But Casandra beat me to it! She'd walked right up, confessed. And guess what he said!!!"
Rhaena's voice had raised considerably, heads turned in their direction but she paid them no attention.
Lucerys sent them apologetic glances.
"Apologies. But I am already taken."
Rhaena had deepened her voice considerably, a bad mock imitation of the stranger. She'd even raised her arms and puffed her chest to make her seem bigger. Lucerys slapped a hand over his mouth to muffle the laugh. She grinned goofly at him.
"Anyways. I'm not that desperate to steal a taken man. I am fine with standing back and ogling from afar." She sighed, shaking her head in fake dejection before raising it once again, grin slipping back onto her face.
Said grin soon dropped quickly as Rhaena's jaw dropped. Her eyes widened, blinking rapidly as her gaze flickered behind him. She looked like a fish out of water.
Curious, he turned around and came face to –chest? (It was a nice chest too, Lucerys resisted the urge to bury his face in it). He was stunned for a few moments, staring blankly before his eyes rose to meet lips pursed into a smirk, a single eye staring down in a way that dragged shivers along his spine.
This must have been the mysterious man.
Rhaena had not been wrong.
This man was one of the hottest people Lucerys had ever seen. Long, white locks were pulled back so half was tied into a bun, whilst the lower half was let free, cascading and framing sharp cheekbones and dropped over thick, broad shoulders.
An eyepatch was pressed over the left eye, while the right dragged itself down and back up Lucerys body as though he were an art piece framed in a museum. Lucerys felt like prey standing before a predator.
"Hi." Lucerys uttered, voice coming out high pitched and embarrassing.
Lucerys already wanted to bury himself in a hole.
"Hello." The taller man mused, and Lucerys too was ready to risk it all right then and there. The voice was not too deep, but deeper than his own and silky. In a way that made Lucerys wish to drop to his knees and pray (amongst other things).
"Lucerys!" He squeaked out, flushed and holding a hand out. The taller male looked surprised before it slid into amusement as he grasped Lucerys hand in his own– Lucerys nearly tumbled to the floor. The mysterious man's hand dwarfed his own, large and rough and Lucerys was going to see God. He would not survive this encounter. He felt like goo as he watched their size difference.
Lucerys had not ever been one to lose his composure so easily, especially for another. But something about this man ruined Lucerys for any other.
And then– unfortunately for both Lucerys heart and little friend– the stranger raised Lucerys hand and pressed a gentle kiss to his hand as though he were a maiden.
Had Rhaena not informed him that the man was taken, Lucerys would have jumped his bones right then and there.
A throat cleared itself behind him, and both Lucerys and the stranger turned to see Rhaena giving them a look. Lucerys blushed.
"I guess... I'll leave you both to it!"
And she scurried away like the traitor she was. He sighed internally, before his attention was brought back to the other male.
"It is great to see you again, Lucerys."
And all simping was paused, as Lucerys brows furrowed in confusion. Again? He was sure he would remember someone who looked like the gods had spent extra time crafting. He squinted as he once again took in the appearance of the other.
The only familiarity was the straight white hair, most commonly belonging to the Targaryens. Yet, the only ones he knew of were Aegon, Helaena, and Aemond. This man was most definitely none of them.
His confusion must have shown on his face as the taller laughed, husky and Lucerys gut heated up at the sound.
"Well, I guess I do look different from the last time we saw another. I cannot shame you for the confusion. Perhaps.. this shall remind you."
And the man stepped closer, fingers brushing along Lucerys cheek before dipping to grasp his chin, raising and tilting Lucerys head the slightest so the man could lean down, lips brushing against Lucerys ear.
"The last we spoke, I confessed my affection for you. It was unfortunate they were not shared, but I was not deterred. I was and still am willing to wait. So now I ask you, shall you make me wait longer?"
And Lucerys inhaled harshly, having not noticed he'd stopped breathing at their proximity and during the man– no, Aemonds words. Small, little Aemond who had doubled in both stature and build.
"A-Aemond?" And though he knew it was him– there was no other explanation. The only man who had said such a thing was the sweet little boy Lucerys had rejected. Lucerys just could not comprehend how the other man had grown so much, in such a little amount of time.
Lucerys could feel the way Aemonds lips quirked up against his ear, breath hot and ruffling his curls before Aemond leant back, eye eating Lucerys up.
"Good boy."
I love the thought that earlier that morning, Aemomd had stood before his mirror and spent hours on his appearance. Aegon definitely laid across the man's bed, exhausted as he was forced to wake up to give tips and recommendations to the outfit.
"With or without the eyepatch?" Aegon groans in reply.
Lucemond where Aemonds greatest victory was him claiming Vhagar yet his greatest loss was Lucerys slashing his eye out.
Though after Storms End, where he sits on a beach, pelted with rain as he holds his Nephews motionless body in his arms, it changes.
Aemonds greatest victory now would always be a debt being paid back, vengeance for both his lost eye and the humiliation he and his mother were put through.
His greatest loss was the death of his beloved nephew, who he'd never wished to kill.
Aemonds greatest loss will be never seeing those rosy lips pulled into a teasing grin again, doe eyes full of mischief and love, a wicked compelling voice whispering jokes and hypnotic giggles piercing Aemond with arrows of weakness.
There was no coming back from the crimes he had committed today. So he held the body closer, the last touch that would ever grace the boy's skin, the last eyes that burned a horridly beautiful sight in his mind; painted in his blood, yet as gorgeous as every other time Aemond had lain eyes upon the boy.
And then, hesitation in his movements, he lowered the body into the water and allowed the waves to carry the boy down, drag him into its depths.
No other would find his body, that sight had been for Aemond and Aemond alone.
Jace: You attract what you fear
Lucerys: oh no 😣 a tall strong man who likes to put pretty little boys like me in their place 🥺
Jace: ..
Aemond appearing out of nowhere, out of breath: I ran here as fast as I could
ABO Lucemond who are the last survivors of the Dance of the Dragons.
Belly swollen with child, Lucerys harshly gripped Aemonds wrist, forcing the taller male to rest his hand on Lucerys belly. To feel the babe move, kick, dance in his womb– nearing the final semester.
"You may not love me, Uncle. You may even despise me so, which believe me, the feeling is mutual. But.."
Lucerys glared into the others eye, a small snarl gracing his delicate features, rosy lips parted to reveal small canines that caused the bitemarks across Aemonds shoulders to pulse.
"You will love our child. For if you do not, I will not hesitate to cut out your other eye. Whether they are born with a cock or cunt, you will give them everything and more. I will not allow any less."
Lucerys just wants the best for his kids 🥰 if Aemond doesn't give that, next BD I guess 🤭
Can someone please write royalty au where
Lucerys kingdom gets attacked by another larger, much more powerful kingdom that easily overpowers his family.
His family is either murdered or locked up, while he's kept as a personal prisoner to the attacking King.
King Aemond sees his actions just, explaining he kept the little thing alive to hold over the surrendering kingdoms' heads if they ever attempt to attack again, keeping them at bay.
When in reality, it's because their Prince is gorgeous, and when he'd seen him, he knew the only way he'd be able to claim him was to get rid of his family first, who would oppose him. Now, there's nothing in the way of him making that gorgeous thing his Queen.
Me: I'm a multishipper!
Also me: shipping every single person with Lucerys
I need someone to draw or write Aemond tightening the straps on Lucerys corset. (In an enemies to lovers sort of way, you know what I mean?)
He makes sure it's tight, painstakingly so, enough that it has Lucerys gasping out for air. And yet Lucerys says nothing, unwilling to be the one that yields as Aemond harshly tugs the strings of the corset.
Lucerys would be hunched over, fingers digging into the bedpost, sweat dripping down his cheeks as he pants, eyes wide as his teeth dig into his bottom lip until it's red and swollen– trying so desperately not to let out a pained sound.
Aemond would attempt to get Lucerys to beg him to loosen it, arms flexing with the effort he used to tie the corset, straining the strings to the point, any tighter would break something. It angers him so that Lucerys refuses to break, and neither does he.
Just watched the clip of Elliot failing at bowling and after howling in laughter, thought of a lucemond modern au prompt.
Lucerys boasts about being good at bowling all the time so when Aemond finally takes them out bowling, it is in fact proven that Lucerys is atrocious at it.
He keeps rambling that it's a bad day (Aemond is confused when Lucerys mutters it's not a bones day, what was with the generation these days?) and that he's usually better than this.
Aemond doesn't believe him at all. Lucerys isn't even holding the ball correctly.
Aemond has hit strike after strike, without fail, and is drawing the attention of many others– Lucerys struggles to hold his jealousy as a lot of the females flutter their eyelashes at the older male after spouting compliments. Aemond hadn't even bowled in his life before today, how was he so good at it?
Lucerys had just about had it until when upon holding the ball, lips pinched in a frown– Aemond stepped up behind him and placed one hand under the bowling ball to support its weight, while the other gripped Lucerys hand.
"Here, Taoba. You're holding it wrong. You'll break your wrist if you continue to hold it this way." The other man had murmured, carefully maneuvering the ball and Lucerys hold until it didn't feel like his wrist has going to snap under its weight. His grip on it was much easier and it felt lighter in a way; as light as a 10-pound ball could get.
The long slender fingers of the taller of the two ran across Lucerys knuckles, teasingly sliding up his forearm before taking both hands away– including the one supporting the weight of the ball.
The bowling ball dropped, and right underneath it was Aemonds foot.
Lucerys, in the back of an ambulance, could not stop apologizing and crying as if he were the one laying on the stretcher. Instead, it was Aemond comforting the other, hand in hand as he rubbed his thumb over Lucerys knuckles soothingly.
I adore the idea that Modern Aemond doesn't understand slang and Lucerys is a professional at it. Who thought it was a good idea to put these 2 together.
TRAGIC LUCEMOND IDEA 😭
Aemond had switched sides to be with Lucerys, but the Blacks are still hesitant to accept him, suspicious of every movement and sound he makes. Finally, they trust him, asking for his help when they go seige the red keep. He agrees.
They get to the keep, and turns out it's a trap.
Aemomd had informed them they were coming.
It ends with much bloodshed and then it's Lucerys, standing before his kneeling mother, eyes wide with horror as she sobs, covered in the blood of those she knew and those she did not.
She begs that they spare him, and Aemond presses his body against Lucerys back, sighing contently.
"He will not die, sister. He is mine and I am his."
Aemond slides a hand down Lucerys arm to grab his wrist, flipping Lucerys hand and showing the healing cut that graced his hand.
Rhaenyra sobs.
Days before the attack, Aemond and Lucerys had bound themselves before the gods of the old and new, in both body and soul. They were one.
"I'm sorry Mother."
Lucerys cried, tears dripping down his cheeks as he presses his body further back against Aemond who tightened his grip around him.
They were one, and would go down together.
Lucerys grabs the blade by his side, flips it and plunges it as hard as he can into his own gut, piercing it completely– as well as into the man behind him.
There is shouting, as well as orders for a maester as Lucerys watches his mother tremble before him, whimpering and pleading as she attempts and fails to shuffle closer.
The blade his brought out and he gasps in pain, blood pouring from the wound as he is turned to meet an eye staring in anger at him.
Both he and his husband tumble to their knees.
Aemond raises a hand to his cheek, covered in blood that stains his pale skin. His other hand lowers to press against Lucerys's wound, whether to bring more pain or stop the blood flow, Lucerys did not know.
"You vile creature."
Aemond grit out, closing his eye and pressing his forehead against Lucerys, breathing shaky as their blood spilled, mixing as one.
"You take and you take, it is never enough."
Aemond pressed a gentle kiss to his plush lips, eye opening to stare at Lucerys. They're pale, ignoring the panic around them as everyone rushes about.
"And yet, I would willingly continue to give."
Maesters attempt to pull them apart, but Aemond grabs the blade used to stab them and swipes, tearing one of them down whilst the others jump back in shock.
Lucerys presses himself closer to Aemond, inhaling harshly as the blood loss leaves him dizzy, tired as his eyes flutter shut. Aemonds body tumbles to the ground by the added weight- unable to keep both of them up, and they lay in their blood together, wrapped in one another.
"Stop, Aemond. That... that is enough. I'm done... I'm so tired." Lucerys whispered brokenly, pressing himself as close as he could to the body beneath him. Aemond ran calloused fingers through the curls of his hair, slow and just as exhausted.
"It is alright, Lucerys. You can sleep now. I will be with you. It's okay. We'll be okay. You don't need to worry anymore."
Lucerys gasped sharply, before his body grew lax, a smile on his lips as he lay limp in Aemonds arms.
He would not see the tears that ran down his cheeks, choking on his cries as blood dribbled from the man's lips. He would not watch as the life slipped from his husband's eyes as they joined one another.
And neither would see as both mothers screamed, Rhaenyra finally reached them in her binds, pressing her forehead against Lucerys still chest, her hair turning red where it lay in their blood. Alicent fallen by their side, lifting her son's head onto her lap as she hovered shakily, unable to do anything but beg the seven that they return her son.
No battles were won that day, for their losses were too great to ever count this as a victory.
Lucemond idea (dark themes, NSFW)
Now give me Lucerys offering himself up for peace with Aemond. And Aemond agrees, and when Lucerys goes to where they're supposed to meet, where he'll be forced to offer his body up so that his family can live– his family is kneeling there, bound and confused as they see him walk in; boundless and just as confused as they are.
A hand grasps his throat from behind and a lean sturdy body presses against his back. His family's shouts are muffled behind their gags and Lucerys can only watch in horror as they struggle to get to him.
"Look at how helpless they are, bound to watch."
Lucerys stifled a gasp as the hand around his throat tightened, the breath of the other hitting his ear and running across his neck causing goosebumps to rise on pale skin.
"What is this? Why are they here? This wasn't a part of the deal, Uncle."
His family continues to thrash. It is only Him, Aemond, and his bound family– his Mother staring with horror and desperation, Daemon is glaring at Aemond, and if looks could kill, the one-eyed prince would have perished ten times over.
"The deal was that I take you, as my possession, nephew. There were no such claims as no witnesses. I believe it would do well for your family to watch their savior, and observe what you would offer for their lives to be spared. It took much trouble to persuade my family— especially my grandsire, who desired the heads of your family to be mounted on their walls."
Another hand rose to the buttons of his shirt, popping button after button until it split, fluttering in the cold breeze.
The sight sent a frenzy through the family on their knees, rope and cloth wrapped so tightly around their frames that it would likely bruise. Jace's shouts, though muffled, were loud, spit running down his chin as he attempted to gnaw through the gag.
"Fortunately, my brother, your king, was gracious enough to pardon you once we had spoken. He'd known that I would take this deal whether it be for or against any decision he finalized."
Lucerys understood what was about to happen, and it sickened him to the core, nauseous as his stomach churned in disgust, tears prickling his eyes as he stared at his mother with an apology in his eyes and no words on his lips.
His innocence would be taken before his family who would be forced to watch, with no way of escape. His family, unable to help, would see their tormenter, enemy, defiled their child, a sacrifice struck to make sure they come out alive.
Why has no one made a Pretty Women AU with Lucemond yet 🤨
Aemomd paying for Lucerys time (whether it be for that or for a fake partner or smthn) and then they start falling for one another. Like come ON 😭
