I’ve spent some time thinking about what to tell everyone.

Other than doctors and nurses, the only people who have seen Victoire are her mother, her aunt, and myself.

…

It’s hard to put things into words. When you’ve… created a new life.

I’ve known that Victoire has been real this whole time. I’ve seen Viola’s body change over time and I’ve felt her trashing in Viola’s womb.

…but… you never know how real someone is until you see them for yourself.

The doctors… they let me hold Victoire for a moment. She.. she is more beautiful than any sight I’ve seen in Kalos… or any other part of the world I’ve been in.

I’ve battled gods, super-mutants, and things I can’t even begin to describe. I’ve seen amazing sights that can’t even begin to be described.

Nothing is as beautiful as my daughter.

Nothing.

I want to continue my work to make this world as beautiful as I can… to bring true beauty to Kalos and the rest of the world. Because I want Victoire to inherit a world that I have helped to improve.

I have more to fight for now. More to protect. More to love. And I will continue to love Viola and Victoire until I breathe my last, and Yveltal accepts my spirit.

Happy Birthday, Victoire. Your father loves you very much.
