Miraculous ladybug fanfiction rant. Tw: rape threats , suicide threats below cut

Does anyone else get uncomfortable whenever they read a miraculous fanfic and the comments are misogynistic towards Marinette? Im currently reading an Adrien x reader fanfic and the comments are so vile towards Marinette.

Not to mention, anyone who expresses sympathy or defends Marinette is instantly met with passive aggressiveness. (Or even blocked by the author).

Like I know Marinette's character isn't the best and is absolutely dog water but I don't think saying she deserves to be raped or she needs to kill herself is the right thing to do 😭

It's even more weird bc the author keeps writing y/n as a saint who does no wrong and litte-to-no backlash when she does something wrong (all she gets is "she's lost her braincells" or something of the sort)

Then again, this is all on Wattpad.
