Taking a moment to cease her anger and wipe her face with a hand ( still leaving very obvious remnants of toothpaste and spit, but at least she isn’t completely foaming at the mouth. ) She feels a small tug on her leg, glancing down to apologize quietly to Mincinno and Eevee who heard her semi-coherent yells. They brushed and clung to her legs like small children, begging for her to relax. It’s enough to quell her for several seconds before she glances back at the figure in the phone.
“ That’s not what I’m-I’m worked up about ! ”
The fans enjoyed it - especially the ones who particularly found the gym leader dreamy, charming among other… things. She recalls having to throw away several packages of fan “presents.” Saya groans, feeling a throbbing pain in her head. What a morning.
“ Yes, it’s popular but you ought to show more modesty ! You know better than to titillate as much skin as you have ! Y-You’ll receive more of a lecture about this at the gym ! ”
Her eyes flutter to a new received message from Oleanna herself. Oh goodness, she knows. She knows and she’s absolutely screwed. Her expression falls for a moment before returning to it’s previous fury, though not as strong now.
“ We don’t need to go through this every single time, Raihan ! Do you understand !? Good-bye ! ”
It takes a moment before the video-call cuts off, leaving the petite manager to rest her head in her hands. Goodness. She sighs to herself and pets Mincinno, who climbed up on the counter. Grabbing her phone, she flicks to see the message Oleanna left her. ‘ We need to talk. ’ Time to clean up the mess she made during her fit then head out to see the tallest headache of her life, among other dealings.
just as he is about to protest against her inevitable lectures the screen goes black. seems like she has indeed learnt a thing or two from their previous disagreements, giving him no chance to react properly. by now goodra peeks past the doorframe, tilting her head and raihan cannot help but to pet her head ‘ don’t worry ‘bout it, it’s just her overreacting again. ’ what soon follows is a comment about there being nothing wrong with showing a bit of skin. if he didn’t know any better he could have sworn he heard his goodra sigh at the comment.
it doesn’t take for raihan to arrive at the gym, his apartment is rather close by. peeking past the door he notices that saya is not there yet and lets out a sigh of relief. taking a seat somewhere in the stadium and greets every staff member that comes in. one having been kind enough to bring coffee for him. offering a small ‘thanks’ they sit there for a little bit along with some other trainers but that quickly changes when they see saya approaching. knowing what time it is, the trainers quickly begin to scatter and raihan cannot help but to call them traitors as they do so.
despite their betrayal raihan does turn to saya with his usual smirk after all the manager is as frightening as a goomy.
‘ easy there ! i know you’re a prude and all but no need to get that worked up ‘bout it. ’ he says knowing very well that would anger her even more. ‘ anyway if you’re gonna try to lecture me again let me just stop you right there because i ain’t gonna listen. ’ at least he is being honest about it. ‘ what done is done and pictures like that aren’t the end of the world, besides it could have been worse i could have said yes to that photoshoot. ’ though knowing her that likely would have given her a heart attack and he would need to look for a new manager. ‘ anyway what’s on the schedule for today ? ’
