so i’ve been working here and there on an album feature where as you finish chapters you unlock these cute little photos to look at

well today i was working on something completely different. and as i was playing the game to make sure that everything was looking good i realized that when you open up the album menu(while playing a route) and click on a photo, it would still show the background+sprites

so it looks like amisia and damara are having a discussion and mspar just randomly pulls out a baby photo out of their pocket

like “Yep, she sure has grown up a lot.”

it just looks so silly

I was looking through your art again and can I just say the concept of Mallek being a dad is both the funniest and most correct thing ever! I honestly need more father daughter content with him and Damara. I wonder what your thoughts are on how their relationship is like? When did they meet and what was it like? Whats the type of stuff they do together? If they met when Damara was a little older what does she think about him dating her guardian? Sorry if I'm asking too many questions, this AU has been on my mind a lot recently lmao

so damara would be somewhere between 10-11 years old when she first meets mallek. mspar and mallek weren't dating yet but damara could tell the two were really into each other so basically damara is like

mspar explains that they're not dating mallek, he's just a really good friend...and then a few days later

it didn't take long for damara to get used to mallek and mspar dating. 

now mallek wasn't used to the idea of raising a kid, so under his laid back demeanor, he was anxious about how things would go. of course over a few weeks he eventually gets comfortable and builds up a good relationship with damara.

mallek would try to bond with damara by making an effort to learn about what damara likes by watching a few episodes of an anime(or cartoon) with her, or by learning how to cook foods that she likes. i like to think that mallek would give damara her first ear piercings, and any other piercings she gets in the future, since he eventually becomes someone she trusts and would make the experience less scary

overall i think mallek would turn out to be a pretty chill dad who would just try his best, and him and damara would get along pretty well
