I don’t really talk about this because tumblr is my refuge outside of my very hectic real life. But I will say this: I’m not here for racists, bigots, transphobes, etc.

Being called out for supporting a problematic player who did something wrong and didn’t apologize is not bullying.

Being expected to support BIPOC over a problematic player for your team when you say you support BLM and say you are a feminist and then being criticized isn’t bullying.

You know what bullying is?

My pfp is a cartoon depiction of me. It’s obvious a BW. I don’t talk about it because I delete anon hate, but I get different messages with either 1. The n-word with the hard -er, 2. Messages telling me that I have no business writing for such and such player because he wouldn’t want a n-word, 3. That no one wants BIPOC writers in hockeyblr.

That shit is bullying.

Getting your feelings hurt because someone called you out on not being an ally and then deactivating isn’t bullying.

why do y'all.... go so hard for "bullying" but when it comes to like. poc trying to make a safer space for us by calling out racism that we see its always the rb with the "im listening and learning" and shit but then when something like this happens its always "we need to stop bullying!!" corwin never bullied anyone, something they said was just taken out of context. also—who said we had to be nice about confronting racism. white people do not need to be babied into being told that they did something racist. why do we have to be nice to them when they're the ones that hurt us. why do we HAVE to give them the benefit of the doubt when we have this argument time and time and time again and they just won't listen to us. who said we had to be nice.
