I'm a bit new to the miscecanis lifestyle thing, like I know of a/b/o and omegaverse and I've been interested in it for a long time, but I had no idea that there was an actual name for what it's called when people use it in their lifestyle on a daily basis.

I had always been secretly doing it on my own for years now, I would scent things of mine or I was extremely in touch with how something smelled and if it was a bad smell it would bother me greatly, I have nested for so long now, I never thought of any relationship being anything other than looking for a mate to date or hopefully bond with. This was all just such a comfort for me to live this way instead of the normal way, it still is a huge comfort for me.

I used to feel embarressed that I did this, that I was weird to be pretending that dynamics were somewhat of a thing and that I felt as if I really was an omega, I kept all of this a secret from pretty much all of my friends. But then recently within the past few weeks I had learned that miscecanis was an actual thing, and that there's other people who do it too, and I've just been ecstatic to discover this!

My name is Bailey, I'm 19 years old, I'm transmasc nonbinary, MLM gay, and go by he/him/they/them. I present as an omega, in case that was a question that anyone may have wanted to know about me. My main hobbies are art, listening to music, trying to learn to cook and occasionally playing video games, but I also have a passion for photography and unusual things (horror, gore, gothic, etc)

I don't really use tumblr that often but I've also got discord that I can use for more consistent communication instead (baileycosplays). I really reallllly want to be able to connect with some people who are also interested in miscecanis and embrace it in their daily lives, I would give anything to be able to meet some people like me.. It would mean so much to me if anyone would reach out to me, or even just be willing to chat for a bit. I've been looking all over at potential discord servers to join but everytime I find one it just isn't a good fit or the place is practically empty. It would mean so much to me to just find a few people like me, regardless of presentation.

hey so genuine question, is miscecanis only for traditional abo dynamics? Like, stay at home omegas only, alpha/omega relationships only?? (More under cut)

I know I'm in a different position from most people on this tag (I'm an introject and me and my husband both have abo influences) but I was really interested because I know for a lot of people it's purely a nsfw trope and nothing else, so I don't hear discussions on it outside of that on lifestyle or world building or anything. plus this like, is my life!!! so seeing other people talking about their genders and nests and living the same way I do makes me happy!!!

But (and I've only discovered this tag recently) a LOT of posts are just alpha/omega relationships, and questions aimed at omegas or alphas tend to assume they're attracted to or mated to someone who's opposite to them. I'm an omega but my partner is a beta, and I'm not sure if that's included here.

Plus, betas are hardly ever mentioned at all, although I did see one post talking about how they're cool and awesome and shouldn't just be third wheels (valid AF)

If someone is dynamic-non-conforming, is that like, cool?? Or do you guys generally avoid that??

As I said I'm new so I don't know much of anything about how this works, I'm just poking around and figuring out what's going on. If the miscecanis community IS generally strict/conforming on these things, is there some sort of more loose alternative?

There is a post from one of the actual founders of the miscecanis term (that I am too lazy to seek out) that discusses how much they enjoy seeing diversity within the miscecanis community. Every dynamic has always been welcome. How you express your dynamic is up to you. It's different for everyone. More diversity is always good for the community.

Why are we Alphas stereotyped as the angry, feral ones? Have you seen most Omegas? Omegas be like "my coffee has turned slightly cold in the meantime I was telling you how much of a dick you are... I'll tear a hole in my wall using only my teeth now. Thanks for ruining my day" 😂😂😂😂

Most Omegas I know are NOT chill and sweet. They would bite if pet. And they 100% would try to murder you and hide the body. So again why we are seen as the dangerous ones when most Omegas are blood thirsty bridge goblings is beyond me.

Dynamic: Omega Ω

Scent: Typically my scent is a mixture between chai and a swedish cinnamon roll (heavy emphasis on the cardamom and obligatory scent of coffee you get when ordering said cinnamon roll).

Sometimes my scent smells like the cozy comfort mainstays candle mixed with the chasing fireflys scent from bath and bodyworks. Both of these scents have jasmine in them so just imagine that. I'd say this is my lounging around but still productive scent.

I've also been playing around with maple pecan waffles which has been nice but only on occasion.

Language: My native language is English but I've taken French for two years and am trying to learn Danish.

Hobbies: fishing, knitting, sewing, crochet, art, writing, reading, fashion, meteorology, travel

Interests: the occult, cryptids, any sort of unsolved mystery, crystals, history, ecological preservation, poetry

Hello. I'm Mim. I've been involved with the miscecanis community before it was even called the miscecanis community, but, since my old account was cringe, I set out in search of a fresh start and made a new account.

I'm currently in search of a pack. I am a part of a couple big discord servers but I'm looking for something a little tigher knit. I'm going to make a pack discord server so, if you're interested hit me up.

I would prefer if the people who reached out were around my age (I am 18). I am trans friendly, no exceptions. I do my best to respond in a timely manner and will be taking this seriously as I want nothing more than a tight knit pack. However, I do still have things like work and school so I may be up at odd hours or might be unable to respond sometimes.

Anyone with any inquiries may dm me or comment here. My askbox is open as well. I plan on making another post promoting the discord server as well as a post introducing myself so this won't be the last time you've heard of me.
