Dear diary..
Part of me just really likes the alliteration that comes with that; dear diary. Anyway, so we're all meant to be writing about our time here so far. Thoughts, feelings, friendships., just anything, really
I don't really know what to say about it though. Not much has happened with me.
Maybe let's start with LA itself? I don't know why I wrote that in the form of a question, you're an inanimate object, no offence, so it's not like you're going to answer me. This isn't Harry Potter. Back on topic- LA's beautiful. Everything just seems so bright and vibrant here. The scenery's amazing, I can't wait to explore it more. It's so different from New York though, I miss it back there. I guess it's kind of like when I moved from England to New York in a way, it all just takes getting used to. I'm looking forward to checking out the food and shopping here, I love how it's all so different depending on where you are in the world.
Now, people.. I've talked to a few people in the house, some of them are really nice, which I'm glad about. I don't want to risk going near the.. Edgier ones, I'm awkward enough as it is. I don't know if I'd go so far as to say I've made any friends though, which doesn't surprise me. I mean, there is this one boy, Lance. He's quite lovely. If you ignore the fact that we met when I said the house was huge and he asked if I wanted to see something else that was big. He backed off quickly though, and that's the important thing. The boy's a genius when it comes to hot chocolate, too. I haven't seen him in a little while though, I hope everything's okay. He's probably the one I've talked to the most here. I think most of the other people might like secluding themselves, which I completely understand. A big place like this gets lonely easy is all, so I hope I become friends with at least a few people. On a side note, t's kind of interesting that most people here seem to be non-straight.
I don't think I can really comment on missing people from home. My family are still in England, so I'm away from them anyway. I haven't really made friends in New York, I mainly stayed holed up in my apartment, working on my art, or walking around aimlessly to find inspiration for it. And taking photos, I love photography, too. I suppose it could be a good thing not really having friends back home, it saves you from missing anyone. I do miss Bella and Lucy, my kittens, if that counts. And I definitely think it should, they're my babies. I miss New York too, I think I prefer the weather there, even though it is gorgeous here.
At least while things are still quiet here, I can take in the beauty of the city of angels and draw it, maybe even do some painting. May as well take advantage of the peace, who knows, things might get crazy around here once the place starts filling up.
I don't know what else to talk about, so I guess I'll have to leave it at that for now.
