Kinalas --- literally, ‘taken apart,’ is an egg noodle dish #nagacitykids grew up to. Pork or beef parts submerged in a hot pot are the usual suspects to the flavorful broth, topped with thick and tasty brown sauce which is every kinalasan’s guarded secret, and meat taken out from pig or cow cheek. This is my ode to Kinalas and to my hometown: Naga City and a reminder to self just how beautiful it is to be loved and fall in love, with and in this city.

Today, I will try to ward off the writer's block by just trying to write again, even when I feel I've lost my stroke and my train of thought; even when 'write has left.' I'm very anxious to find ways to avert this anxiety that's creeping in. And heavens, where is it even coming from?
