The CHR Movement, created by Jenna Halchez (me) is a movement advocating for the respect of fictional characters online.

It’s main goal is to teach people that characters deserve respect, and shouldn’t be objectified nor sexualized.

It’s extremely normalized (ex. Rule 34) for people to draw characters in any twisted, disgusting scenario. But it’s fucked up and perverted.

I’m starting this movement for not only the characters themselves, but the real people who made them and the real people who love them.

The real people who could be traumatized by something they’d see just by looking up their favorite character.

I will forever advocate for characters.

why do you make a movement where sexualising fictional characters are illegal? my brother in christ theyre fictional for gods sake. yes we have our blorbos but at the end of the day theyre not real. and what about the creators who do sexualise their own characters. by that logic if the creator is fine with that then that means its free reign for everyone to draw porn of them right? and whats so wrong with adult characters drawn suggestively unless theyre kids or animals? and if you have the energy to care about the respect of fictional characters for your movement why dont you care about real people fiction/ shipping too? because theyre real unlike whatever fictional characters you advocate for (although from what i saw you can be hypocritical and lofty in your movement too)

Hey, I saw the post where you leaked a stranger private messages. At first there was no written apology in it — you only came back later to edit one in. I've looked through your blog and you've offered far too many empty apologies in response to other anonymous questions. You were asked to delete the post, but you never did. Not deleting it after being told to, and leaving someone’s private messages exposed, is still harassment and an invasion of privacy. Editing an apology later doesn’t erase the fact that you chose to keep the harmful post up it honestly makes the apology feel insincere. Having depression doesn’t give anyone a free pass to hurt others or violate their privacy. Mental health explains things, but it doesn’t excuse them. Please take down the post completely. Leaving it up continues to harm someone who didn’t consent to their messages being public. Continuing to leave private messages exposed after multiple people have asked you to delete it only proves the apology wasn’t genuine. Real accountability would include removing the post

For the second time ever, I’m back ! (And actually doing somewhat better this time.) i know this is rather sudden. But I really wanted to apologize for the way I’ve been *acting* as of late. Especially on and during the days nearing my last hiatus(es). I admit I *definitely* needed space, especially considering most of the reasons for my absence were because of outside influences (my job, sleep schedule, motivation etc.) but the way I approached it was. *immature.* im gen sorry if I scared anyone :(

I can’t guarantee that I’ll be as active as I used to be, as I *am* still trying to lay off social media for a bit (mainly for the sake of my mental health and. Job.) But I’ll be there when I can. I’ll try to be a lot more open whenever I have issues, since I feel (especially back then) I’ve always had issues with communication on my end. I’m trying to work on myself.

With that being said, I’m back on. I’m horrible with words, but from the bottom of my heart, I truly don’t know where I’d be without you all. Thank you all for your understanding ❤️
