Iâm officially in the middle of a Japanese folklore mood, so hereâs samurai!Sasuke and goddess!Sakura in Ukiyo-e art style
âȘSasuke: *blinks*âŹ
âȘSakura: ah yes. He plans to stab his own leg and then stab the satellite. Clear as day. Excellent plan my love.âŹ
I've always wondered why Sakura is the only girl who confessed her love to Sasuke but i also wonder do you think Sakura's first confession has effected Sasuke in any way? Like you know confessing is one deal and being loved by that person is another deal so how do you think he felt when sakura confessed?you know the only confession he got was from Sakura? What do you think? How he felt? I've thought he was aware that he has fangirls and girls love him
Sasuke definitely always knew that he had many female admirers, but I think Sakura was the first time that he actually felt loved by one of them.
watch you sleep
Leave Jun Esaka your feedback on Naruto Retsuden here !!!!!
There are tons of antis that are going to leave harassing feedback, so letâs send as much positivity as possible !!!
Do you think Sasuke knows how handsome he is?
Honestly I donât think Sasuke sees it that way. Iâd say he acknowledges that he gets plenty of attention and adulation from women, but wonât attribute it to his looks. In fact, I doubt he links it to anything because he doesnât care enough to do so; He would acknowledge his popularity with women but thatâll be the end of it. If he were asked, heâd likely say it was due to his capability as a ninja.
Something that really baffles me are people who claim to be Sasuke fans, but hate Sasusaku. I get that Sakura fans occasionally delude themselves by twisting up their perception of who Sakura is and how they want her to be happy, but Sasuke is not like that. How can you, a person who presumably wants Sasukeâs happiness, hate Sasusaku? Sakura is the only person who provided Sasuke with unconditional love after Itachi betrayed him. Sakura is the only one who provided him warmth and love in his life after his family was murdered (âshe was the one who filled his lonely existence with the thing called loveâ)
Not just that, Sasuke is softer, and more his natural self with Sakura. Sheâs the only person he feels comfortable enough with to simply be happy around, and whose happiness and accomplishments make him happy. Sheâs the only one close enough to his heart to tug on his heart strings and change him on things no one else can. She is the only one who made him think of the love he felt for his family even after he had already set his heart to stone and intended to kill Naruto and accept a life of only hatred from everyone.
So you think sheâs âweakâ or âannoyingâ, but why would you look at the only person in Sasukeâs life that gives him nothing but happiness and feelings of love, the only person he is able to behave like his normal self around, and say âGross, I hate this person for himâ.
Yes, Kakashi has an important role. Yes, Itachi is the most important person in his life. Yes, he has a close brotherly connection to Naruto and yes, he considers Hebi/Taka to be like his fledglings, but that doesnât mean they bring him happiness, or that he has the same kind of happiness from them.
Kakashi is similar to him, but thatâs a bad thing, because rather than see each other, they project their own situations on each other. Itachi is his dear brother, but heâs also the source of Sasukeâs greatest trauma and creates the most amount of grief for Sasuke in his life. And he refuses to let Sasuke decide anything for himself. Naruto is a replacement for Itachi, and knowing thereâs someone out there like him made Sasuke secretly happy, like he could replace his family, but it was still tangled up in their rivalry. Naruto enraged him and refused to understand him even when he should, they were jealous of each otherâs accomplishments, and Sasuke wasnât able to just be happy for Naruto. Their relationship is as self destructive as Sasuke and Itachiâs.
HebiTaka are all important to Sasuke, but they donât really connect to his deeper emotional core, and he often treats and views them as tools.Itâs not the same thing.
And all these bonds are important to Sasuke. Sakura isnât his only bond. Not at all. But Sakura is the only wholly positive one he had. As much as it made her suffer, she was still the only light in his life, the only love who wouldnât change her feelings no matter what he did, or whether he deserved it. The only one who could still reach his feelings even at his coldest points and remind him of his humanity, however briefly. And she was the only one he went out of his way to avoid killing.at all but his lowest point (signified by his willingness to try to kill her).
So sure, I understand why Sakura fans might decide they donât like Sasusaku, even if I disagree, but I donât get how Sasuke fans can hate the only canonical opportunity he has to be happy, recreate the family and home he was deprived of, and have the love he deserves to have, not dependent on him smiling at her or doing things she likes.
@aaaaninja
I thought Naruto was the one who turned him from the path of hatred.
Youâre confusing his bonds. Naruto beating on Sasuke until he forced him to give up on his violent plans and thus helping to free him from his hatred is not the same thing as making Sasuke happy. Naruto often makes Sasuke angry, bitter, and jealous. Their rivalry and their refusal to admit that they actually do like each other greatly interferes with the happiness Sasuke could have. Obviously Naruto is important to Sasuke. That doesnât = that Naruto is the one who makes Sasuke happy. Thatâs mixing up his bonds.
Do you think Jun knew about what antis where saying about ss ? Because it's so amazing to see all the things they called ss bad for (for eg this family is broken, sasuke doesn't communicate with her, he doesn't make any effort with sakura or thinks about her blah ah, ) has all been proved wrong from that convo with jiji. Id like to think the antis are supposed to be jiji and sasuke is shuting them all down. I m finally at peace with boruto canon wheww
Lol, I doubt itâs that deep. Esaka just included thoughts and feelings that were very obvious to anyone apart from the anti extremists who always allow their bias to severely cloud their judgement.

I genuinely donât understand why people are so pissy about what Sasuke did about the chunin exams to Sarada. He literally just wants his daughter to become chunin the correct way. How is this a bad thing? Lol it makes much more sense for Sasuke to be this way rather than being one of those parents that demands their children win everything because they said so.
Exactly, itâs like certain people canât decipher between a parent wanting their child to be promoted, and a parent thinking their child deserves or is ready to be promoted. The parents all obviously wish the best for their children and want them to move up, but whether or not theyâre deemed ready or deserving is a different matter entirely, one which canât be made through biased perspectives.
