I love Royal Chaos, but absolutely hate the story. So, in my rebellious fashion I've started to remake the characters of royal choas and it story.
Of course it started with the most hated character. Mu.
That hat had to go. ( I have a problem with that hat. I hate it so much)
I gave him a bun. Almost gave him a half bun with some hair down, but it made him look like Lord Yi and I didn't like it. It a lot more simple then the original design as with the love birds it's reference in both storys that Mu Lingchen doesn't like to spend much money.
No anger. Original Lingchen short fuse and makes bad choose. So, I turned that down.
In this he isn't that angry and think thing through, trust MC.
Instead, his personality flaw is women. In the original story, his wives love him for no reason or at least tolerate him. Of course this isn't realistic so I changed it. To fix this, Lingchen is bad at flirting, as in get nervous when he's in love. He just can complete a woman.
Secondly, increase his mummy issues. Both of Lingchen parents didn't like him, and that could of been used better. As in, make him interesting and sympathetic.
In my mind, there would be scenes were Lingchen is talking to his mother (sometimes about his achievements) and his mother strate up doesn't listen or care. Also, more of Lingyun getting all other mother's attention.
This would help give some reason for why he so bad with women as his own mother didn't care about him, so he had little interaction with women.
He also be an supporting brother. There be lot more scenes with Lingchen and Lord Yi, one about Lingchen supporting his brother passion about poetry and holding a poetry competition for his bother to compete in. As well as scenes with Lingxi.
I will go over his relationship with his wives later.
Have finished ideals for Empress and Noble consort, just need to finish some drawings.
