I need some of y'all to understand in Hazbin being "redeemed" isn't the same as being forgiven or deserving a second chance.

Being redeemed means changeing your self into someone who constantly trys to do the right thing. The reason anyone can be redeemed isn't becuse everyones crimes can be forgiven but becuase as long as you have free will you can choose to stop doing harm.

Its not about does this person desver to be redeemed that isn't the point. Hell if someone feels guilty for there crimes that will lead to you punshing yourself. Look at Pentious he didn't even do the murder and he's being eaten up by guilt. The fact that he both understands what he did was wrong and wants to do better in the present is his redemption. The grand gesture is just the external proof of the internal change.

If someone is litterly unable to do the right thing or even just not the wrong then than your saying they don't have free will. If you can't chose to do differently than you can't reasonably be held reponceble for that choice. Like how a wild animal isn't 'reponceble' for biteing you becuase it's unreasonable to expect it to know better.

So if we say Valentino is litterly, physically incapable of choosing to do the right thing then you are takeing away from how much he is reponceble for it. Every day he continues to do bad things is a choice he is makeing. Any day he could stop. That wouldn't erase the past, that wouldn't mean he desvers to be forgiven, that wouldn't mean he shouldn't face consequences. That does mean he has free will.

And that is the significance of Val and Vel joining in Hear my Hope. Is that even if it's gun to head back aginst the wall they are physically capable of doing something good something that benefits everyone.

If Husk died in his 50s/60s and Alastor died in his 20's/30's then Husk lived though Jim Crow laws longer than Alastor did.

Husk died late 60s early 70s. 1964 is when Civils right act passed. Which means if Husk was 60 when he died than he spend 55 years liveing under Jim crow laws.

And I'm asumeing Husk is black. Like tenicaly his race doesn't have to math his voice actor but like it's pretty much just keith David's actual voice. Like it would be werid if he wasnt.
