Change

If it weren’t for change,

we would be quite boring.

No card playing,

and no beer pouring.

We would never grow up,

so jeez what the heck,

Id rather just change into an insect.

Id molt and grow, to my hearts delight,

Id like to be a lighting bug, so I could fly at night.

Or maybe I could change into a blueberry,

and then into a pie.

Hopefully I taste so good,

I change into the apple of your eye.

No goals would be set, nor would they be reached,

we would all be stuck like whales washed up on a beach.

Change has no mapped out course, and no driving force,

one day you’re a cowboy, the next day you’re the horse.

Time is the source of all change yes its true,

theres no way to stop time no matter what I do.
