I think about certain speeches Bonnie makes to Enzo about love. season 7 ep 21 or 22? i think? but how she tells him she’s been waiting all her life for someone to love her. What could’ve been so moving about that is if they showed her home life? if they allows her abandonment issues to actually be about HER, they only utilized her emotional trauma with people abandoning her when it came to Damon, even the season 3 plot was more on Bonnie suffering so we can push Elena needing protection and keeping the Mikaelsons in the plot, Bonnie was supposed to be close with her Dad as the sole parent in her life but when we finally meet Bonnie seems to have some resentments to Rudy - which makes sense with the traveling but that quite could’ve been more powerful if they gave Bonnie some emotional depth that she deserved

Bc love isn’t just romantic, it’s platonic tell us how her friends don’t love her correctly if Bonnie has spent her life waiting for love. Talk about how the Bennetts were super harsh on her when she didn’t even know much about being a witch at first
