Of course! If you know me, you know I love to yap especially about the projects I'm working on. I'll admit, I haven't really touched Empyrean in a few days because I was working on an unpublished concept and a rewritten story, but I'm hoping to get back into writing for it today! Answering this will be a good way to get back into the right headspace.
I won't yap too much about the concept process, because that's been mentioned and talked about before. So instead, I'll be focusing on Ace and Deuce, how their lineage might affect them, and some facts I came up with about firefoxes and elves.
Because Ace is only part firefox (1/4th), he wouldn't have any noticeable animalistic features like the ears or tail. However, there may be times where the ends of his hair glow like embers. It's faint, but it might happen on occasion when he's using his magic. It's so faint that he hadn't even really noticed. That's part of that firefox lineage making itself known. Had he remained completely mortal, he might have aged slightly slower than the average human, if he got lucky.
Here are some facts about firefoxes!
While not very rare, firefoxes are one of the slightly more common entities found throughout different regions. There are some variations, like snowfoxes or desertfoxes, but firefoxes are still the most common.
Firefoxes are still entities (anything that is not mortal or animal) so they are still unusual to see. But you're far more likely to see a firefox (like Cater) than a rare pyro elemental (like Riddle).
Firefoxes tend to stay in Heartslabyul, but they can occasionally be found elsewhere.
As their name implies, firefoxes wield pyro, which is why Cater is seen as such an oddity even among his family. His parents and sisters can wield pyro, but he wields cryo. It likely has to due with the fact that he was born and raised in Pomefiore, where cryo magic is most common.
When born, a firefox will resemble a fox-like creature. It's only after the first few years will they be able to take on a human-like form should they desire.
Because of how common firefoxes are in regards to most other entities, it's unusual for any to be worshipped. Which is why they are vulnerable to death. Without veneration, they remain simple common entities.
Many firefoxes choose to live in their divine form (fox-like appearance), without taking part in society. There are others that choose to live among mortals and other entities in civilization.
Due to firefoxes being one of the more common entities, they're have been a few that have taken interest in mortals or other sorts of entities. Which is why hybrids (mixed between entities or even with mortals) exist, but these are far and few in between.
Cater Diamond is an example of a pure blooded firefox, meaning his parents were both firefoxes. Ace Trappola is an example of an uncommon hybrid, but in his case he's mostly human with traces of firefox in his lineage.
Deuce is only part elf (1/4th) and because of the human-like appearance of elves, he wouldn't have any very obvious signs hinting to his lineage. The only sign from his appearance is the slight pointed tips of his ears, but it's hardly noticeable. It's nowhere near as obvious as those ears of full elves. In fact, it's such a slight different that most never even notice. Had he remained completely mortal, he might have aged slightly slower than the average human, if he got lucky.

Trying to think about this, I really enjoy the idea of Night Raven College being a yandere only school that encourages the ideal ways to take a darling, The dark mirror looks into ones soul and places them into dorms corrosponding to their yandere traits -
HEARTSLABYUL - Controlling
The Heartslabyul Dormitory, built upon the Queen of Hearts strictness. The Queen of Hearts known for her ability to care for her darling with a strong strict routine, setting his life up for him.
Heartslabyul Dorm looks up to the rigidness the Queens used for her darling, Heartslabyul students can be multiple levels of controlling down to the food you eat - to who you associate with. A platonic yandere from this dorm can be just as deadly as a romantic one, however, A yandere from this dorm may not be as murderous as say, Savanaclaw, that doesn't mean they can't be...out of all dormitories Heartslabyul could be the tamest...if their darling behaves.
SAVANACLAW - Overprotective
The Savanaclaw, built on th King of Beasts' Persistance. The King was known for waiting patiently for his darling, spending years working to claim her.
Savanaclaw is filled with majoritly beastmen, while that is not a requirement for the dorm it is relevant due to the dorms umbrella trait being Overprotective, Savanaclaw are territorial yanderes. Once they catch their darlings scent, they're theirs. The students of this dorm are labelled for their willingness to harm both their darlings and others, afterall, some beasts like to devour parts of their darling to keep forever. That's just a rumour though...I think.
OCTAVINELLE - Possessive
Octavinelle, based on the Sea Witches Benevolence. The Sea Witch was wildly known for helping yanderes meet with their fated darlings, of course everything comes with a price but all her dealings were fair!
The Octavinelle students look up to the Sea Witches ability to kindly help out desperate souls, these students are placed in this dorm for their possessive behaviours, they believe their darling is theirs, every inch, heart, body and soul. Octavinelle is on the list of murderous dorms but, they are on the lower end as these shady yanderes have a way of getting what they want with the use of their words alone, the tongue could be a deadly weapon, maybe don't blindly trust these men?
SCARABIA - Delusional
Scarabia, built on the Sorcerer of the Sands spirit of mindfullness, The Sorcerer is known for having his darling taken from him in a fight that was considered unfair in both status and moral.
Scarabia look at the Sorcerer with great admiration, the man worked for everything even for his darling, only to be tricked in the end. Scarabia students are very delusional, not "My one true love" delusional but not too far off. Students of this dorm will fight to their last breath for their dalring, much like the sorcerer of the sands once did. These yanderes vary upon what you get, they themselves aren't deadly, but let's not let looks fool us yeah? These yanderes will not let themselves look bad to their darling but it doesn't mean someone else can't.
POMEFIORE - Manipulative
For the Fairest Queen's Spirit of Tenacity. The fairest Queen who lost her darling, fell into a deep sorrow that she pulled herself from to help her step-daughter find her darling.
Pomefiore are very, very determined yanderes, they want? they get. No isn't a word they often hear, nor enjoy. Once their darling is in their grasp...lord may he have mercy. The students of Pomefiore think of their darlings perfection, whats best for them and how they will manage to take care of them, they enjoy setting up intricate plots to stage their darling in danger, just to swoop in and save them last minute, look at all they do for you and you still look at them in fear? I fear you maybe becoming quite ignorant....
IGNIHYDE - Stalker
Based on the King of the Underworld's spirit of Dilligence. The story behind the king of the underworld is world famous, a yandere who waited in the sidelines, watching his love before coming in and taking her home to feed pomegranate seeds.
Well lucky you! Ignihyde students are naturally introverted! easy to avoid, hard to escape. A yandere from this dorm like to stay in the blind spots, to stay in the back and observe, but as they stay behind don't delude yourself into believe your safe. I said they were introverted not stupid, these students are constantly thinking, planning and designing ways to retreve their darling to bring home. Another dorm that can develop platonic darlings, Ignihyde students are watching. Always.
DIASOMNIA - Intoxicated
The Thorn fairy's spirit of Nobility - not much is publically known about the Thorn Fairy's darling but it is believed that she had a platonic darling up until later in her life.
So...Diasomnia huh? The dorm containing both Human and Faes, but heres the thing...Fae and Humans do have a difference in yandere much like beastmen and merfolk do. Faes will experience a deeper emotion, they will stop at nothing. They are powerful and sometimes they like to remind you of that...Their is not much known of this dorm except for how murderous they can be and how much they love....be careful of the Fae...They can bond poly relationships revolving their darling if they have imprinted or claimed another yandere.

This doesn't mean the lower ranked dorms wouldn't commit murder for their darling, the chances differ and change based on personal back ground, areas growing up and hierarchy.
Yippie! I hope this is a good start! I wanted to focus on the idea of the umbrella category of the yandere types in each dorm rather the yandere themselves, as that will get updated as this series goes on.
I will make a seperate post later about the event characters and RSA as I would like to write for events eventually as well (I'm In love with the mothers...I need platonic yandere mothers written)

At first, she thinks he must be famous on Magicam when she sees a recent post (from about 10 minutes ago) with a picture of him and read the description, "My cute girlfriend scolding the two most troublesome students in Heartslabyul" (the image, or the way the photo was taken, gave the impression that it was taken secretly).
She was confused because every time Cater said he was going to upload a picture of them together or just of her, it was to show off his "friend's" beauty, she went to Cater's profile and what she saw left her speechless.
All the posts Cater had uploaded were of her, referring to her as his "girlfriend."
The next day, Cater went to see her as usual, wanting to take his "usual morning photo" with her to upload to Magicam.

Anyways, I was sorta thinking that while the chacters won't remember everything, they might catch glimpses of your previous attempts/lives the longer you make it in a particular plot.
Example: Why do Ace and Deuce get the feeling they shouldn't let you anywhere near Riddle? Why do Trey and Cater inexplicably want to prevent you from getting involved in the Spelldrive investigations? Why does Riddle feel as if he shouldn't allow Leona anywhere near you? Etc.

Clutching your hands within his, Ace is all smiles as he squeezes your palms, teasing you for your blush. Aw, are yaā all red just for him? Thatās cute, sweetheart. For a moment, it all seemed just right.

Until you tasted blood.
Itās a sickening feeling, a strong metallic taste lapping at the very back of your throat, crimson red blood pouring out of your mouth by the gallon. Itās always accompanied by flowers. Lively colours of yellow, blue and pink petals, all dyed scarlet. They burst from your mouth, spilling off your tongue.
You spend most of your day hunched over, retching over the toilet bowl. Knees trembling on the toiletās tiles, you clutch at the walls beside you, dipping in and out of consciousness. Your throat stings like a thousand needles were jabbing into every crevice, everything burnt like a fiery inferno, but the blood doesnāt stop.

Throwing up blood and petals right in front of you, sinking to his knees dramatically. Itās almost as if everything was rehearsed, to the way he clutches at his chest, to the glimmering pearls of tears, pooling at the side of his eyes. He stares up at you longingly, pleadingly. Begging for you to rush to his side, to comfort him.
The moment you do though, heās choking out his confession of undying love for you, just how much heās been pining all this time. The horrors he endured, because he wasnāt sure you felt the same. His hand closes around yours, trembling away like a leaf. Jadeās words bind you like a curse, chaining you down with an unbearable guilt.
Itās your fault heās suffering like this, so you should really just accept his confession and say you love him too.
Jade uses his sickness for all itās worth. Clinging onto you like a parasite, his arm is always slipped through yours. He finds every opportunity to snuggle up right next to you, his head leaning into your shoulder. If you ever push him away, heās coughing into his fist, looking ever so frail and weak. Heāll keep up the kicked puppy act until you indulge him in whatever he wants, whether that be cuddles or a little kiss on his cheek.
You find that this slimy eel is worming his way into every single waking moment of your life. Going to class? Why donāt you go with him? Both of you can hold hands like a couple do, walking down the hallways together. Youāre going to study with your friends? Well, thatās ok. Jadeās just going to wallow in sadness by himself, surrounded by scarlet red petalsā¦. Oh, youāll study with him instead? Thatās so nice of you.
Even at night, you arenāt totally free of him. In the middle of your sleep, sometimes you hear the blankets rustle. Something cold pressed against your back, lanky limbs snaking around you, locking you in their icy embrace. You can hear every single one of Jadeās breaths, blowing against the bare skin of your neck.
He snuggles up as close as he shamelessly can, nuzzling into the crook of your neck. Sometimes, you even feel the ghost of his fangs graze your shoulder, razor sharp teeth threatening to sink in at any moment. Jade nibbles in his sleep occasionally, so he claims.
He apologises whenever you wake up to your arm dotted in red tooth-marks. Yet thereās no sincerity behind those apologises. In fact, Jade seems almost giddy with joy, knowing that your skin is covered by his marks. As if he owned you, bone, flesh and soul.
Jade envelops you within his suffocating love. Itās almost obsessive the way he insists on being the only one in your life. Why do you have time to care about other people when heās right there? The one whoās puking up flowers and blood? Because of you?
You should be with him every single second of the day. Jade really doesnāt know what heāll do without you, youāre the only one whoās able to help him. Youāre his beloved, his remedy. Jadeās everything.
Heāll do anything for you
So itās only fair that you reciprocate the same amount of devotion to him as well, no?
š·ļøāClaude walks a very thin line between being reverent or cruel and he does so even more than Sebastian does. Then again, one would have a hard time assigning a demon morals comparable to those of humans. As his mate, Claude knows that you belong to him. Your objections thus hold no meaning for you work against forces far above what you are capable of comprehending. Nonetheless, at his core he too has vowed to cherish and protect you as a mate has a very special connection to even a creature like him. Differently from Sebastian though he can borrow attributes of the cruel archetype in a much quicker fashion as he is neither as patient nor as playful as Sebastian is. If you do not learn your place he is very happy to remind you of your place as you are still nothing compared to him. Pleasure he may derive from your fear afterwards too but ultimately Claude thinks of it all more as establishing who is in control - very much like humans tend to do with a disobedient pet. If you learn to behave though, he too is going to do everything to spoil and pamper you to the best of his abilities. Everything you wish for, he shall require and as a quick learner he is going to adapt all skills needed to guarantee your satisfaction.

Aside from the five senses human possess - although much duller if compared to his - as a demon Claude has plenty of other senses too which allow him to basically detect the essence of souls. Whether corruption, fear or innocence lies within one's human soul, Claude is able to detect it all which in return allows him to manipulate accordingly. If you don't love him, he is well aware of it. A pity really as he is working rather hard to attain your affection. The fool he is not going to play forever though as his patience is limited and thus if he has reached its end, he is going to proceed differently. Whilst your love may have been a nice price to win beforehand, ultimately above all he desires to possess you. You may not know it but it is his right to possess you for your body and soul belong to him. So fear him for now if this is what your heart is telling you, there won't be any escape from you in either case. If he cannot bring you to love him by yourself, Claude knows how to help you so that things proceed the way he desires them to do. Once you are confined and kept in an area only he has access too, he is going to have plenty of time to take on your stubborn challenge of despising him.
Manipulative
š·ļøāManipulating the thoughts, the feelings and desires of people has been something he has been doing from the moment he was created. Claude is not one to argue against his demon nature as he embraces it with pride. Shame he has not for you see, humans are so easy to manipulate. The human spirit is remarkably weak for it is either sweet promises or simple fear that has them faltering and bend to his every desire and that often without them even being aware of it. With you it is not going to be any different as Claude is confident that he can shape your heart and mind as much as he has done so many times before. He has been interfering with your life long before he even locked you away, isolating you on purpose as you are going to have no need for anyone else besides him soon. He reads your desires and chooses his words wisely according to whatever your heart wishes for, guiding you down a path he has specifically built to lead you on. The manipulation stays after the abduction - only that you are now aware what Claude is trying to do. The knowledge alone won't save you though. What is it you can do against his demonic abilities after all, designed to tear apart your senses and install primal fear within your heart?

š·ļøāHe is your mate. He is your lover. Above all though he is the one who is going to look after you and protect you for all eternity. Claude only follows the biological nature of the world. He is a demon whilst you are still a human. Even if you were to adapt more demonic abilities the moment he binds your soul with whatever he has inside of him, you'd never be fully equal to him nor would you be as powerful for he is older and more experienced. There is no interest anywhere within his mind to allow you an independent life as he plans to have you rely on him for all eternity. Differently from Sebastian who may keep up an illusion of free will, Claude makes it from the very beginning obvious what you are allowed to do and what you aren't allowed to do. You are always going to be aware of the cage he has tucked you into and how suffocating you find this depends on whether you end up developing Stockholm Syndrome or not. So many aspects of your life are going to be micromanaged by Claude as the clothes you wear, the meals you consume and even the books you are allowed to read are all dictated by his won choices. There is only very little freedom as the demon doesn't see the need for a free will when he can just decide everything for you.
Imagine the main story, but you die in the prologue. By luck, you escape being burned alive by the monster known as Grim, but you aren't so fortunate when the second monster appears. You die in the mines while trying to recover the mage stone.
Instead of a permanent inky void, you wake up right back where you started: the coffin at the entrance ceremony. You were given a second chance. Recalling your previous fate, you're able to avoid both being burned alive and being crushed by the monster in the mines.
Everything appeared to be going smoothly, you befriended Ace and Deuce and Grim then met Trey and Cater and Riddle. Until you died during Riddle's overblot. And once again, you awoke in the coffin. Surely this time would be different? Now anticipating everything that would happen, you're able to survive being stabbed through with a rosebush by Riddle Rosehearts.
Everything should be fine now, right? Well, apparently not. What you assumed was a bothersome but simple task to investigate the accidents around the Spelldrive students, led to your third death at the hands of Leona Kingscholar's signature spell reducing every part of your body to sand.
Right, now you knew how to defeat Savanaclaw's housewarden. Or so you thought. Your next demise was caused not by Leona, not even Ruggie, or Jack, but it was someone in Heartslabyul. It appears that they've become far too attached, throwing off the plot as you knew it, and leading to an earlier demise.
By the time you eventually beat Savanaclaw, you not only have to worry about any future overblots but also those characters you've encountered already. They were just as dangerous as the overblots. And you're not sure if your lives are unlimited.
