I am writing this in memory of you because I couldn't say goodbye to you this morning. My feelings are still raw, I'm still in disbelief that you're no longer here. Thank you for the short amount of time of we spent talking when I checked in on you in your room. You were one of the coolest patients I have ever come across. We had so much in common and bonded over things from life, being a nomad, tattoos. I'm truly sorry sorry you didn't get out to travel like the free spirited nomad you are and go to Mexico and fulfill your dream to enjoy the culture. I find solace knowing you had a friend in me even for a short amount of time. I carry you with me.
