Headcanon that Merlin buys a new era-appropriate outfit for Arthur around every decade so he’ll have something to change into, but can never bring himself to throw anything out so he’s just got boxes and boxes of clothes (mostly red) from every decade. Also, he only has Arthur’s fashion sense from the 1500s to go on, so he spends ages choosing the outfits specially and imagining what Arthur would like in the new age because he wants to make his transition as comfortable as possible

The reason why Morgause was taken away in this universe was because she was born a unicorn.

Morgana is still considered a seer in this world. After her evil arc, due to her lack of horn, she used a magical branch as well as the Alicorn amulet to empower herself. The amulet and the dark magic has led to visible corruption on her body - the same goes for Morgause and the dark magic warping her horn and leaving dark marks

Nimueh is a deer , her antlers growing and splintering higher and higher towards the gods

Not sure if Freya lives or dies in this world but if she did, she’s getting shipped with Merlin despite how much I ship Merthur. These two were so cute together

Guinevere’s cutiemark represents peace with the palm leaf and lily of the valley (pulled from when a five star island grows)

As you can see, all the women evil/beastly women have small fangs. Freya with the slit eyes

For people wondering why Arthur had a “unicorn” tail, if you know his origin of birth then yes. Because he’s conceived through magical means, he has a bit of magic in him. Perhaps in a slight redesign, I’d make his shirt a little longer to cover that spot of his tail since Uther would be ashamed of it
