seeing lando so happy and much relaxed and open about his thoughts and feelings after winning the wdc makes me genuinely want to see oscar winning it too

so letās begin with some general omega lando headcanons!!
-> As the only omega between his siblings, he grew up very spoiled. I mean- they all grew up very spoiled by Adam and Cisca, but his parents were simply unable to deny their little boy anything.
So, now heās simply used to having people do things for him and being bossy about it. Heās no defenseless and useless omega, but itās nice not to having to worry about his paddock pass, having always someone to open a doors and packages for him, or having special treatment whenever he is.
-> Mommaās boy through and through. Loved spending time in the nest with her, all cuddled and soaking in her scent, surrounded by their familyās clothes and smell. Not having the comfort of the family nest always available to him when he was having a not so good day was the worst part of starting his racing career.
-> Definitely had a puppy crush on Alex when he was younger, and on Carlos and Max when he was a little more older, before and during his first years as a Formula 1 driver.
-> Smells like strawberry shortcake, a little too specific I know, but to me his smell would be the perfect combination of sweet, fresh and with a warm creamy undertone to it that would mix well with chocolate (aka Oscarās scent). So therefore, strawberry shortcake would be the best description of Landoās scent.
-> Very possessive and territorial about his belongings and protective and clingy to the people he cares about.
Do not enter in his bedroom/hotel room/driverās room without permission, thatās where he builds his nest and heās very territorial over who gets to see it.
Do not let him catch you speaking badly about someone he cares about or scenting someone he sees as his, or you will have to deal with a very snappy and growly omega.
-> Despite being born and raised in the UK, never learned to be used to low temperatures and is always running cold.
-> Loves stealing clothes from his friends to put in his nest, he knows he could easily have it them if he just asked but he likes being a gremlin about it and finds more fun do things this way.
-> Not a conservative or traditional omega by any means, but would love to be courted by someone in the traditional wayā¦ despite his lack of shame, heās a romantic at heart.
now speaking about romance, let me talk about some of my omega lando headcanons with the landoscar spice to it!!!
-> Lando was a little wary about Oscar in the beginning, after all he was someone who was coming to replace Daniel, someone who was very dear to him. He also didnāt know what type of alpha his new teammate would be, if he would be a good addition the team, and sincerely, Lando was too hurt about losing Dani to get attached to a rookie who might not be able to live up to the hype.
-> But Oscar is so sweet and hardworking that Lando canāt resist him for long. Even before half of the season, Landoās omega had already taken quite a liking for the Australian alpha, especially because heās sooo funny to tease and loves to indulge Landoās whims.
-> Once Lando warms up with him, heās strangely protective and eager to share his personal space with him. He doesnāt mind Oscar entering his less intimate nests like the ones in his driverās room and likes discreetly scenting him a little, just in case someone in the paddock tries to mess up with him.
-> Heās absolutely delighted in bossing Oscar around, he just canāt help the giddy feeling he gets from having Oscar wrapped around his little finger.
-> Feels like heās becoming insane after Oscar comes into the 2024 season all big, beefy and more confident in himself, and all Lando can think of is how he wants to climb him up like a tree and never get off his lap ever again.
-> Has a propensity for āforgettingā his hoodies sometimes so he can borrow one from Oscar or go to his driverās room to snuggle discuss strategy with him.
-> Lando becomes weirdly obsessed with Oscarās chocolate scent once he catches a whiff of it during one of their cuddle individual strategy sessions. Then, he keeps coming up with the most ridiculous excuses just to get scented by him and Oscar goes wiggling because having Lando walking around smelling like him just feels right.
-> Having pups was always a distant dream of his, but Oscar makes it feel not so distant anymore. Sometimes when Lando is close to his heat, he just wants to get bred with his pups sooo bad.
-> When they officially start a relationship, after the 2025 title fight, Landoās favorite pastime is teasing Oscar hard enough so he can use his alpha voice on him. He trusts Oscar, and knows he would never take it too far, and he just looks so hot like that, all broody and commanding, putting in he in his place when Lando is behaving like a brat,that he canāt help himself.
why did Oscar and lando break up originally in the one shot? Itās ok if u want to keep it vague!ā¤ļø
the short answer is that Lando broke up with Oscar mostly for certain self-esteem issues that started to arise when he noticed how much affected him what some people / media outlets were saying about him
the long answer might be some of that, but also because they were young and way too exposed and probably people expected a lot of them because they were kind of the picture perfect of what a couple should be, and Lando started to feel pressured for that (and also, he kind of realized he never had a name for himself, just someoneās kid or someoneās partner, never just him). certain questions that normally you would ask yourself in your mid-twenties.
he just wanted to feel like he was making the decisions and not just going with the flow or taking whatās been offered for him bc that was the life he was born into
I donāt think it was āpersonalā, itās not like he felt like Oscar did something, thatās why it was so hard for both of them to let each other go (and why there was no anger but some bitter-sweetness surrounding their situation)
also thatās why their parents kind of expected them to come back together, bc they werenāt toxic, just Lando decided to part ways for self-exploratory reasons

I personally donāt think he resented Lando bc I think first of all heās a bit pathetic about him and would accept most things if he knows itās what it takes to make him happy
omegaverse without an alpha being utterly obsessed and a bit a simp for their omega is like an angel without wings
and about the āhaving someone elseās babyā part, I think the key there is that it happened like four years after they broke up (and they didnāt quite see each other during that time).
like, Lando couldāve even married/mated another alpha and it wouldnāt even been too soon, so I think Oscar is mostly internally grateful that after all he had a chance with his ex who he never quite forgotten more than being bitter for what happened in the meantime lol

I think Archie sounds both cute but not ridiculous as a government name, and I donāt really see Lando choosing something ābiggerā like Archibald or Archer.
like, Landoās name doesnāt feel something you would say to scold someone, and I donāt think his parents scolded him a lot either, so my guess was that he would choose something similar, not really planning to tell his kid off too much lol

but I do think Oscar wouldāve come back with Lando whenever the opportunity presented, Lando was having his own side-quest so I think he wouldāve doubted a bit more
