Ok, I learned a lot!

Using Mr. Hobby’s matte top coat only turns these matte if I use a layer of varnish underneath. The pic on the left is how they look varnished THEN sealed, and the ones on the right were simply sprayed after painting. Both have a nice, even coat, but varnished look super matte while the unvarnished has a sheen to it.

These sweeties are going to go as gifts to friends cuz of some minor imperfections :3 can’t wait to make some worth selling!
