I think the plan is to just keep talking about [mental health]. i dont even know what to say.

i was well aware of the spoilers and ever since i found out i was like “this doesn’t make any sense.” and i still am.

they fucked up badly. they fucked up 2 whole seasons of developing mon-el and kara’s relationship. if chris was supposed to stay for 2 seasons only, why write his last year like this? why erase everything?

and alura’s come back, what the hell was that for? not only it was terribly written, but now you just write her off like no big deal? and kara is totally chill about losing her mom again? and mon-el? like he’s never been anything to her? until two episodes ago, they were about to kiss in the garden in argo and now, not even a hug? he just threw his ring at her, like the writers threw everything down the toilet.

one scene particularly hit me. brainy telling mon-el he shouldn’t be smiling. that’s the message you wanna give people? duty comes before everything else? happiness is just a precarious state? what the FUCK.

kara cant have the love of her life (that’s canon, folks) staying with her because BEING A HERO MEANS SACRIFICING EVERYTHING FOR YEARS AND YEARS without ever getting anything in return?

what exactly was the point of this whole season? they introduced ruby to alex and then they’ll take her away, they brought back mon-el just to take him away again, they brought back m'yrnn just to kill him, they brought alura back just for her to return to argo after two episodes.. HAPPY ENDINGS ARENT OVERRATED. THIS IS JUST BULLSHIT. IT’S FUCKED UP.

Boooooooooooo! There was no closure whatsoever. The previous episode had Kara finally admitting that her feelings were still there, and then, suddenly, Mon-El was leaving and there was no acknowledgement of what had occurred on Argos. No closure whatsoever. Not even a hug or a longing last look. What a waste of two characters with chemistry that is unchartable! UgH!!!
