“I’m saying this as someone who DON’T even like Meghan but I wish people would stop talking shit about her IR degree when they have clearly 0 knowledge on this. I have IR degree and other social sciences degrees and not all of us choose/can work in diplomacy right after. The beauty (or a con, depends on your perspective) of having a social science degree is you can pretty much go into any kinds of career you want: I have classmates who are now accountant, PR officer and teacher etc. So it’s not weird that Meghan became actress. And no, just because you studied IR doesn’t mean you know every country’s stuff like the national anthem. IR doesn’t teach you stuff like this, anyone who actually study the subject can tell you this. However, it’s common sense that one knows the national anthem of the UK (considering how it’s often played at major events like Olympics), so I’d say Meghan surprisingly lacked the common sense for someone so well-traveled but don’t expect her to know this because of her degree.” - Submitted by Anonymous

Except Meghan Doesn’t have an IR Degree. Nor does she have a double major as she often claims. Markle has a degree in Communications, which the theater department falls under at Northwestern. Her Commencement Program shows this as she is listed on page 22. Furthermore, Comms is the one school that doesn’t allow a double major. When the Suits cast visited Northwestern; she is again addressed with her Communications degree…. Comms 03.

It wasn’t until it became public knowledge of her relationship with Harry, did her Wikipedia page get a makeover with the supposed double major in international relations.
