To Pagans, Polytheists, Worshipers, Witches, and all manner of Spiritual Practitioners:

If you feel like you are not doing enough please give yourself some grace. We are all doing so much just to barely get by, to keep our heads slightly above water. We live in a very different world from our ancestors and the worshipers/practitioners that came before us. It’s not realistic or sustainable to try to approach your practice the same way as those who don’t have the same struggles or responsibilities as you (and this goes for the current world as well).

Try to remember that “enough” is defined by what you are able to truly give or do and that it will vary day by day. It doesn’t matter how small because to your gods, your ancestors, your guides, the universe, your magic & witchhood, none of what you give is small or trivial. Even more so considering how much the current state of the world takes from us, leaving only so much (if any) to give elsewhere. That scarcity of time/energy makes anything you choose to give so very precious. And when you don’t have anything to spare, it’s okay. Your gods still love you. Your ancestors and guides are still looking out for you. And you are still a witch. 🩷

🌿 Psychic/Divination enhancement plants and herbs 🌿

Acacia - Burning acacia wood or leaves, often combined with sandalwood, is a common practice to stimulate psychic, visionary, and prophetic abilities. Anise - Burning aniseed or using its oil aids in clairvoyance and focus during divination rituals. Placing star anise under a pillow is believed to induce lucid or prophetic dreams and protect the dreamer. Arabic gum - When burned, particularly with sandalwood, it is believed to stimulate psychic powers and mental clarity. Bay leaf - Place three bay leaves under your pillow to induce psychic, prophetic dreams and enhance intuition. Bistort - Burn with frankincense during divination or to enhance psychic powers. Calendula flowers - Place a sachet of calendula flowers under your pillow or scatter petals under the bed to encourage prophetic or psychic dreams and visions while sleeping. Burn dried calendula petals as an incense during meditation or scrying sessions to enhance mental capabilities and aid in receiving intuitive messages. Celery - Powdered celery (or seeds) can be burned as incense to enhance psychic powers and increase concentration. Cinnamon - Burn as an incense or use in a sachet to raise spiritual and protective vibrations, draw money, and stimulate psychic powers. Eyebright - Carry this herb to increase psychic ability, improve memory, encourage rationality and increase positive outlook. Honeysuckle - Crush the flowers and rub into the forehead to enhance psychic powers. Lemon grass - Drink lemon grass tea before meditation or divination work to enhance clarity and focus. Lovage - Use in bath spells for psychic cleansing. Mugwort - Drank as a tea or used in sachets for divination and dream work. Rowan - Use leaves and berries in amulets for healing and promoting psychic powers. Saffron - Burn, wear, or carry for healing and strengthening psychic awareness. Star anise - Burned as incense to increase psychic awareness & abilities. Tuberose - Add to sachets designed to increase psychic ability. Wisteria - Burn dried wisteria as part of an incense blend to promote psychic powers and concentration, sometimes blended with orris root. Utilize wisteria during any form of divination practice (tarot, scrying, etc.) to enhance intuitive hits and communication from other realms. Yarrow flower - Carry as a sachet or amulet to banish negativity, ward off fear, and promote courage, confidence, and psychic opening.

Please be wary that some of these herbs may be toxic to animals or humans if ingested or handled improperly, take adequate precautions if you have children or animals in your household. Also, this is not the only way to utilize these herbs, just the way I would use them in my own practice. This is not a comprehensive list and I welcome others adding to it should they want to!

i know folks are gonna call me a pedo for this one, but i grew up seeing my mom and grandma naked. they had health issues and at times needed care and help showering. and i truly think more kids need to be shown the nonsexual reality of naked women at a young age. there is nothing sexual about my grandmothers breasts, they were simply body parts. more women die of heart attacks because people are too afraid of breasts to do real chest compressions, because they are scared to touch their breasts. the sexualization of our bodies literally kills us. i need people to be more normal about naked bodies and i'm 100% serious.
