Prada Presents "A Therapy"

I had no idea that this little 3-minute number by Roman Polanski and Prada got so much press; it was actually unveiled at the Cannes Film Festival, an unusual and remarkable achievement for an ad/film hybrid. In any event, both Sir Ben Kingsley and Helena Bonham Carter play their roles beautifully, however short--but my eyes still focus in on the Prada pieces scattered throughout. Well done, Prada.

Summer (Wardrobe) Update

Since I've been home for the last month, I haven't been blogging as much--I tend to do that when I'm less stressed, remember?--but have attempted some small increases in my closet, beginning with my employee-discounted items from BCBGMAXAZRIA. I've made a goal to work on my accessories (jewelry, belts, scarves, bags) the most this summer, as in south Florida it's inappropriate to carry your possessions in university-labeled canvas totes (it's hobo chic though, amirite?), but also nail down some quality basics to mix future pieces with. Below are three starter items I recently purchased from BCBG--unfortunately for my wallet, the first mini-haul of many. Did I mention the summer collection is nearly flawless? See for yourself.

Black snake-print leather ring, BCBGMAXAZRIA. (Note: this is more of a cocktail/statement ring since its diameter is gigantic, but gorgeous nonetheless. Wish I could find a picture of its face, so I'll have to post one on my own in a look of the day post)

So excited to put my new goodies into action and add to the collection--all the while whining and rationalizing, "but it's with my discooouuuuunnnnt..."
