OH YEAH, I totally forgot! My Imperial Guard, the 99th McConnellian won best painted at the GT I played in during June!

"To Wake the Dead" Assault Tank Macharius No. 850. Personal Command Vehicle of Marshal Vera Mewkova.

"To Wake the Dead" was recovered from a Dead World in the Eastern Fringe. Its original markings date it to late M41, among the first one thousand tanks to leave the Lucius Forge World foundries. The tank had been disabled by a plasma blast through the hull gun port, which then left the tank crewless. It was abandoned and the battle must have ended with neither side being in a position to reclaim it and so it lay in the field until 980.M41 when the 99th recovered the vehicle on their route to the Dacia system.

The 99th Ride Again!

Since school is out and I survived my post-school stress dump, I've been playing lots of Warhammer! 3 games in a week WOAW! Two of these were on the same table, but we fought thousand sons all three times.

Double Down and Rising Sun have been performing great in the new Steel Cannonade detachment, so I'll be writing lore stuff for this series of games probably this week :3

im sorry but i think diagetic gameplay mechanics requires a very very specific tone to work and frankly 99% of fantasy adventures using it do not work for me and what im hoping to be a meaty sadomasochistic grim death march does NOTTTT need it. like it basically has to be a comedy.

New Russ! This one is a rare design known as a Conqueror. Notably, it sizes down the main cannon to make room for more ammunition and a stabilizer, allowing it to function as an effective Vanguard tank capable of outflanking enemies and firing on the move. The additional space freed up by the smaller cannon also allows for a Co-axial Storm Bolter to be mounted in addition to its other secondary weapons.
