When she came into the store it was like it got warmer, maybe that was just the dusty and hot parking lot helping to gust in a draft. It was enough to make me glance up, feeling the heat for only a second. That and the door opening was like an alarm at this point, whenever somebody did come in I jumped like a smoke detector had gone off. Hoping it was a customer and not just some skateboarding kid looking for a bathroom. You'd think after this long I'd not be so eager to kid myself, but honestly it was all I had.
I looked to see who had come in half expecting Kat.
I don't think I'd ever so quickly thought that a person was a flower. Actually never have at all, which was why I was caught off guard by my own thought. The rest followed suit just as awkwardly.
She was beautiful. In a way I didn't really know how to describe. Not like a model, maybe more like something from a book if that even made sense. If I saw a pretty woman I'd usually notice her hair or her figure first. This was the first time I'd ever looked at one and noticed softness first, didn't even think that was possible.
And the rest of her was even better. A fully figured, soft brown woman in a yellow sundress glanced around confused. Yeah that made sense, anybody who came in usually was. Her hair was short, incredibly short actually. Framed around her face like a cartoon or maybe some old timey singer. Pale pink glasses sat around enormous brown eyes, so wide and cute. I don't remember the last time I was attracted to cute not since my 20s maybe, but she had too much of a damn good body to look childish at all. That mix of cute and sexy didn't help my hesitancy to speak.
She licked her lip while glancing around the massive place, probably thirsty it was hot as hell outside. Soft large lips painted red.
Thinking about it now I realize how corny I sound even to myself. It was worse in the moment from the way I stared like an idiot and she had to speak up first,
