Persona 4 - The Magician Chapter 8

This is one of the two most feral depictions of Yu Narukami in any adaptation of Persona 4, and it’s from Yosuke telling him to stop risking his life fighting his Shadow to save him.

For those of you wondering, the other time Yu went feral was in another manga shown in this post where Yu went ballistic on a gang who threatened and were about to beat up Yosuke.

The Persona 4 Investigation Team are usually regarded by the fandom as the most goody-two shoes of the Persona casts so having two of their primary members beating up a bunch of random guys is just hilarious to me.

Even though Persona does occasionally have our playable high schoolers getting into fights in the real world and beating people up (there’s Eikichi’s fight with Sugimoto in Persona 2 Innocent Sin, Katsuya and Boafu beating up Ulala’s shitty ex-boyfriend in Persona 2 Eternal Punishment, Persona 3 has Shinjiro headbutting that guy and Minato beating up those thugs during Yukari’s Social Link Rank 5 and Persona 4 has Kanji beating up the biker gang offscreen and Yu and Yosuke’s punching the crap out of each other in their Social Link). What I’m saying is I want more fights with guys in the real world for Persona 6 (not as an RPG battle, just as part of the story).
