I just realized that

We watched Naruto grow up and we all wanted him to achieve his dream of becoming hokage. We knew him and we supported him but we never actually saw him become his dream? We don’t know him at all now. He was our hero one second and then a full grown man with a wife he barely knows, kids he cannot control, and the hokage the next. I hadn’t thought about it this way before. Yeah we see him now that he is the hokage but we never saw him become it.
